How has he not breached his contract? He's refusing to play for the club that he's contracted to. Poor ickle, cuddly Moshni who can do no wrong, except attack his own team mates with scissors, refuse to play for the club, throw strops thoughout the season......but that's ok because he can score a wonder goal occasionally and take photos with the kiddies.

The man was an embarrassing blight on our club for long enough, now he thinks he's ****ing Ronaldo. :nope:

Just had a thought
If the rumours of the tropical drink mentioned in another thread are true, maybe the contract extension didn't get passed the FL?

I have kept my distance from this story as I didn't see anything in it. But the whole thing has been blown up to be something it isn't.

So Moshni wants to leave to better himself as a player. So, what's wrong with that? I can't believe what people are saying. Why so much anger and hatred?? I just don't get it. For me, I don't think that Bilel has done anything wrong.

He has explained his reasons for wanting to leave, and I fully understand what he is saying. Seems that many SUFC fans don't.

I think if you read the posts, most on here wish him luck, including myself, there is also nothing wrong with trying to better ones self. So you turn up for training, put in a transfer request, and go of to have your shot at the big time, job done. You dont skip training, say its best i dont play for Southend again, go of and hide out somewhere, and make a complete arse of yourself.

Do you have any evidence at all that he has refused to play for the club he's contracted to?

The Club said that he was reluctant to return. "Reluctant" is a World away from "refused to".

As I said, the Club have played a blinder here. I'd be very surprised if anything that has happened with Mohsni this Summer was broadly without the consent of Southend United.

It wouldn't prevent a contract renewal. An embargo prevents a club from registering a new player but Mohsni will already have been registered with us.

The quote in the Echo is pretty farcical though. A weeks training with the Hamsters is making him a better player? A few months of working with players of a higher standard, possibly, but a week??

Can't see a Premiership side offering him anything.

I have a feeling he's going to end up signing for Rotherham? Wasn't Gobby sniffing around in the transfer window last season?

If he does go there then I for one will be chucking abuse his way. Leaving to better yourself is one thing, but going to work with steve evans is something completely different. League 2 for league 2? Surely not!

I have a really horrible feeling he will end up at col u or the o's. If he does he will be getting some serious stick off most of us.

If West Ham dont take him on, then a club like Charlton might be another option to him, but I can see him ending up somewhere like Crawley.

Dont know if they still have money to throw around, but Holdsworth is odds on to take over there & Im sure I read somewhere last season that he was a fan of Mohsni's.

I agree with you - however assuming nothing comes from the West Ham trial, he's going to be back (contractually at least) and we are going to need to offload somewhere to someone with cash to burn. I don't think there will be that many clubs willing to stump up a fee for him....if someone like Rotherham, Fleetwood or perhaps Crawley are still chucking cash around we might get lucky, if not I guess free transfer or releasing him is the only option left.

Indeed, and for Crawley last season, read Rotherham this season

I just want this to hurry up and be finished really. Good player, great potential but not at all right mentally. He doesn't want to come back and I don't believe the club particularly want him to come back either. After some of the stuff that went on last season, I think he'd be better off going elsewhere.

Erm, the fact that he is trialing for another team seems to preety much lead to that conclusion or maybe he"Reluctantly" forgot that he has a contract.
