He may have explained but I don't think that excuses his conduct.I have kept my distance from this story as I didn't see anything in it. But the whole thing has been blown up to be something it isn't.
So Moshni wants to leave to better himself as a player. So, what's wrong with that? I can't believe what people are saying. Why so much anger and hatred?? I just don't get it. For me, I don't think that Bilel has done anything wrong.
He has explained his reasons for wanting to leave, and I fully understand what he is saying. Seems that many SUFC fans don't.

He was obviously very happy to sign the contract that Luggy put in front of him. Shame he hasn't got the honour to stick to it. Again, I say it's a shame he can't be sacked and sued for breach of contract.

There is, of course, another massive side to this, and the whole situation may be a very shrewd move on the club's part... it is very possible that Mohsni was put into the position of having to sign a new contract with the knowledge that he would be on his way anyway, hence his comments that he feel he can do well elsewhere - so that we could sell him on and maximise the investment in him, no doubt with sell on /appearance clauses etc.
It was a massive gamble on Sturrock's part in the first place to bring him from park football in Paris into the UK and League 2, and although there is no doubt what a huge talent he is, it comes with a whole bunch of problems that a League 2 club (and not just Southend) probably hasnt got the resources to deal with. West Ham will have those resources, and will probably be willing to take a gamble on him. I, for one, wish him all the best of luck as Bil isnt vindictive, just naive and alone in a foreign country - lets face it, if people like Joey Barton can still play in the premiership with his attitude and discipline problems, I think that Mohsni's antic are small fry! From any player's perspective after all, there is nothing wrong with ambition and making / taking opportunities that come along.

Not if your name was Marco Boogers they didn't.

He has gone about this in a far worse way than others like Nicky Bailey did. He pretty much refused to come back at all to training and told all of his friends on facebook, of which he has many, many Southend fans, that he wasn't coming back.
