Southend United's Bilel Mohsni scores at both ends for West Ham United in trial game

BILEL Mohsni scored at both ends during an eventful trial game for West Ham United at Grays Athletic tonight.

As everyone else has said on the other threads, can't see this turning out personally. Wonder if anyone saw this and could comment. Think he's punching above his weight, but hey who can blame him. He owes us nothing as he gave his all while here. I wish him well, even if he is living in a bit of a fools paradise: IMO. Enjoyed his time with us more than most that come and go and while I'll miss him and Grant, for me time to move on and throw our support behind those who have signed on for our cause... Big hole in the centre of our midfield now him and Grant gone and Timlin injured,we might well stuggle in this area unless PS can bring players in.

think thats why we are conceading goals to rubbish sides at moment as we have no natural central midfielders in at the moment, goodluck to bilel.

Couple of comments I found on him.

"Mohsni scored twice - an own goal (which I missed) and our only goal, a toe poke when first to react to a loose ball from a corner in the box. Overall he looked imperious in the air but a little less commendable with the ball at his feet. I think he was probably trying to impress a little too much."

"
Mohsni - Surprise of the evening, he was actually really good, and got a goal to make up for a crazy own goal that was unfortunate. Good in the air, strong in the tackle, gets forward very well. We was playing Grays but he performed very well and shocked me to see how good he actually was. Not sure if he could handle PL but we shall see."

Not to mention that the players aren't up to full fitness and the games are more about getting some time on the pitch. For me, it will be the games against Ipswich and Millwall that will worthy of some significance.

On the bench against Col U at the moment. Maybe they are a bit interested in him after all?

He's On, came on for Carlton Cole wearing the no.10 shirt shoved him upfront and has had two chances in first few minutes of being on

62 mins - We're going to see Mohsni in a few moments. He scored at both ends for the Development Squad last night and will wear the No10 shirt this afternoon. He is on now for Carlton Cole.
75 mins - Mohsni raises some cheers with a pass to Potts with the old one foot behind the other pass. I can't really explain it any better than that. West Ham win a corner, but it's cleared.
78 mins - Nice from Potts, who races around Vaz Te before nutmegging Wright as he makes his way into the box. Unfortunately, his low cross hits a pair of legs and Colchester survive. Moments later, Mohsni helps on the ball first-time for O'Neil, but the No32's touch lets him down as he tries to beat the last defender.

Seriously. How much do you think we will get if they are interested in him? I'm thinking 250k max with sell on's etc
I'd be surprised if it was that much, it would be a massive gamble for West Ham to take him, they aren't going to want to spend loads on him unless he proves he can make the first team, I'd say 100k plus 100-200k extra if he makes the first team.

I'd say £250k would be fair actually, it's a very low fee for a Premiership side to pay anyway.
