The EU Referendum

How are you voting?

  • Leave

    Votes: 58 56.3%
  • Remain

    Votes: 45 43.7%

  • Total voters
    103
  • Poll closed .
Southend votes to leave 58.1% pretty close to the above poll.

Leave votes now 138,000 ahead

Wales voting to leave so far and they do pretty well out of the EU

Leave now 146,000 ahead

Another big drop in the £ just now. I wonder what the biggest ever drop in the £ in one day is?

Stock Market wont like this sell those shares quick, or maybe not some big remain votes there

Remain goes slightly ahead

Remain 50,000 ahead

Massive remain vote for Glasgow

decent turnout in lambeth maybe relieves some of the worry about low turnout across London. Remain now ahead.

Just woke up! Leave now 450,000 ahead still some big city results to come yet but that's quite a lead
Could be quite a bit of panic in the City in a few hours time some big losses predicted.

BBC saying contest over in favour of Leave.

Still got 73 areas to declare --- a bit early to say we are deffo leaving methinks.

A new dawn begins for this great country of ours  Although, according to Keith Vaz it's the end of civilization as we know it lol

Now our destiny lies in our hands,oh a a question if I may,any ideas how long before we get rid of those awful EU passports?

End of the day, I voted in but this a vote by the people.
Wonder if Call me Dave will step down, cannot stand the man, but compared to Gove and Johnson .....

UTS

Oh Mr Cameron your luck has run out. A coalition, a majority of 12, narrowly keeping the UK together - and eventually that tightrope wobbles a bit too much.

Seeing his face today will be a joy. Also as Farage is not an MP and no longer be an MEP maybe we will not have to look at his face in a week or so, but Johnson or Gove, shudder, what a choice!

The ramifications for the Conservative Party, for the UK and for the EU are massive. There will be some regrets and Mr Cameron will have nearly as many as George Osborne with his post referendum budget that I doubt he will get to put into practice.

So now leave has become a reality, maybe it's time for someone to come clean and tell everyone what REALLY happens now...
Most likely years of bickering between us and the EU, it's unlikely we'll get any answers for a while. We have to stay in the EU for another 2 years even if a deal is reached tomorrow so they're in no rush to offer us good terms, especially since it might encourage other Euro-skeptic countries to hold their own referendum.
