Hey, here to help. Farage is spent and that's coming from a ex fully paid up UKIP member. I saw the light with him last year and have watched him make a cretin of himself ever since. What ever negotiations take place you can rest easy that he won't be anywhere near them.

Now go have a bacon sandwich with real mans English mustard.

What's wrong with a nice fairtrade mung bean falafel washed down with an organic carrot juice

Which comes back to my question. How many people who voted tory at the last GE and voted to remain now wish they had voted Labour since Millibland ruled out a referendum?

For them it comes down to the lesser of two evils. The only person who has answered my question was a died in the wool tory, and he (without hesitation) said he now wishes he had voted Labour.

I would rather be out with a Tory government than in under Milliband. I would prefer to be in with a Tory government but it looks like that wont be the case so as a democratic country if the majority want out we have to respect that and get on with it.

Good to see that you have immersed your self in French culture. You've certainly mastered the arrogance bit.

It was exactly comments like yours that made a Brexit possible. I truly do thank you because without your insults that last 3 % would never have voted out

Arrogance? Let me think for a minute ............

Arrogance.......like someone who calls a referendum and informs Mr Juncker in 2014, that he will win it by a margin of 70%
to 30%? (came unstuck on that one didn't he) Would be amusing if it weren't so tragic.

Arrogance ......Then we come to the leave supporters, they certainly don't need to take any lessons from me! Like those in the country who want to quit a club but believe they have the right to negociate advantageous terms for their departure? People with an inflated idea of their own importance firm in their belief that others will bend to their will.

Arrogance....... Like a very small man who comes to address a parliament and treats the majority of its members with utter
contempt? (I don't think I've heard you joining in the criticism of Farage's performance this afternoon).
Then he has the audacity to tell others to be sensible, grow up and acceed to our demands for a better
deal than the one we've got.

Take it this new lefty view of yours doesn't include yoga and becoming a vegan then?:winking:

Thought I would wait and see for myself first. Now that I have seen more than just selected highlights I'm pleased he did tell them the truth well done Nigel. Makes me proud to be English, standing up to Europe's whingers. If your projects so great you won't need us.

Wouldn't expect anything less from a Traitor.

You are coming across as a sad, bitter and angry man with your comments.
Before you lose it completely, please seek psychiatric help.

Ah yes. Those Spanish "enclaves" in Morocco.

Personally, I'd give them back asap.

But then again I do the same with Gib/Spain and The Falklands/Argentina.

And that's just one reason you're reviled by so many on here. ****!

But yo like that don't you. Stands well with you dyeing socialist dreams.

The problem is that Cameron and or the next PM needs to negotiate and exit that benefits / reduces the harm to the UK. Farage standing up an insulting everyone in the room and getting their backs up makes that job a lot harder.

Having seen the extended highlights it is clear the room booed and hissed him before he spoke. he replied with 'your not laughing now'. Then various speakers took the opportunity to heckle and slate him, so that's when he launched his 'none of you have had a real job' speech.

Some of the news reports were edited to make it look like he just turned up to mock them, But that certainly was not the case.

I presume that only red would be the appropriate colour for that?

Very, very harsh comment. Just because his views differ totally from yours, that's really uncalled for.

Remember the Brits were living on the Falklands before Argentina existed as a country. So why don't we give then Cornwall why were at it.

Like I say an act of treason.

I think you may be running your own personal edit on Farage's performance but let's say for arguments sake there were some boos as he stood up - he would expect that anyway and as a man who has just achieved the one thing he has wanted for the last 20 years you would expect he would have enough joy in his soul to be able to bat away a bit of background noise. You talk of traitors - this man thinks his ego is more important than the atmosphere in which we have to negotiate trade deals that will effect our country for decades to come. Liability.

Heseltine was on Newsnight last night saying that he wants Boris to be sent over there right now to negotiate the nuts and bolts of the deal, and to then bring that back to the people in the form of a second referendum.

I believe the initial suggestion of informal talks was rejected. My understanding is they are not interested in the UK dicking around but to just get on with it and leave.

The bait of a 2nd referendum may make them play ball with that but really the global markets are having a major wobble and markets like predictability and prolonged discussion and a potential change of mind is the opposite of predictability. Cameron quit too early to have any influence.

Boris is AWOL, Cameron has abdicated, Corbyn has been shot by a sniper, Farage is going around telling everyone they are a ****, Osborne has retracted his budget but said someone else will need to raise tax and cut spending, and Jeremy Hunt is threatening to bring his legendary negotiating skills to the fore.

You can see why the mantra of 'if you are going just go' is best for the EU, they can take the initial pain and then move on and leave us to get our house in order.

Farage is not our government, we weren't voting for him last Thursday. The EU muppets in Brussels might have it in for us because we are the first to point out that the emperor has no clothes, but who cares. They are not as powerful as they think, or as some like your good self, believe.

The only thing in the modern world that matters is money. That is why the MEP's will be overruled by big business. Yes there will be lots of hollow threats in the next few months of 'we might not invest' or 'we may move head office'. Not a problem if you Germans don't want to sell us any cars we will buy them from some one else.

What is vital for us, is we need a Politician and his team who will stand up for Britain and call the EU's great bluff. Of course It goes without saying Jeremy Corbyn would be the absolute worst choice for that important job.
