Having sat at many parts of the ground over the years i have recently( this season) sat in the blue voice which is located in the west block w. This block is a designated area for the blue voice (ie) a part of the ground for those who want to sing. So why is the club seeling tickets to first timers who managed to complately flatten the atmosphere and even worse still i saw two west ham shirts amongst us. My message to those who come to roots hall with spammers shirts. **** off !!

We dont want you coming to our ground in your claret and blue. Go and watch sky or maybe a concept that is alien to you your own team away at blackburn.

The blue voice was as flat as my nans tits today because the club just sold tickets to any tom dick and harry in there. Is it too much to ask for one block in the entrire ground to be given to those who want to sing?? Songs were started today and people were looking at us like aliens. And the people infront of us didnt have a clue who players were and were asking if eastwood was on the bench.

What a joke.

Must say the blue voice today were awful. more noise coming from the south upper. To crown it all in my block west stand there was a carlisle geezer (i think) with his wife and 2 kids wife was cheering so obviously a southend lass the geezers face was priceless.

and were asking if eastwood was on the bench.

I take that as a joke? And i agree TBV was veryy bad considering the great win we did, i dont even remember a time when it was so poor, even tho I didnt really sing, i wasn't in the mood.

What a hypocrite i am :)

Everyone loves to have a dig. Support the lads, they're doing it for our benefit. They weren't amazingly loud today no. I for one look forward to the new ground, that's when TBV will rock the place.

I've always found TBV a bit of a joke as i can never hear anything. There has always been very little singing at RH and just by creating a "singing section" doesnt really change things however over recent weeks i thought the noise was getting better but today went back to normal and i was standing in the middle of the pitch so i could hear what it was like from a distance. Was the drum even up there as i didnt hear it once?

Dont blame TBV the whole ground was church like in its silence, the atmosphere was completely flat and had a real end of season feel about it. I think there were too many people enjoying the sun and not concentrating on the game, there was indeed more noise eminating from my trousers than in the ground.

Well what is the point of having a blue voice section if they are not gonna sing??

Whats the point of sitting where the Blue Voice is set up if your not going to sing

It was a charity day today with the club giving tickets away to be sold for charity. I know because I work at the hospital and got three tickets for my son and his friends.

It's just unfortunate that these tickets for these events are at the back of the West as it means the effect of TBV is watered down.

And with regard to the Spammers shirts, I saw a bloke in the West today in a Chelsea jacket. Why wear other teams colours - it just annoys people and could cause trouble.

I take it you were singing throughout the game.

TBV section is there for people, you and I, to go over and congregate to make noise. If everyone chooses to sit around the ground, which they're entitled to do (I indeed do so myself) then either make a racket where you are, or shut up and don't have a go. What the lads are trying to do is applaudable, and it WILL work at Fossetts.

The only way to sort this out is to rip out the seats and give us back the north bank for the last couple of seasons at RH. The atmosphere at Peterborough on the terrace was a million times better than today, quite pathetic at home really and we have the cheek to take the p@ss out of away teams that come to RH yet week after week at home as a crowd we just don't get behind the team enough.

All this TBV, what a load of old cobblers, in the 70's and 80's we had loads of noise coming from the north bank and the west, with smaller crowds. How pathetic to have a designated singing area, the whole ground should be making some noise for god's sake !!!!!!!!

Sorry TBV, but don't blame other people coming over to 'your' section for not making noise. There was plenty of space over there so you could have just moved.

Most of the singing seemed to be comming from the Upper South today.

Aren't we ALL The Blue Voice? Were all those criticising singing their hearts out? No, of course they weren't.

The "dedicated" section in Block W did seem to be a lot quieter than normal, I didn't notice as much drumming as normal so I'm guessing we didn't have our normal quota of drummer boys available. I wondered about the "guests" in Block X, and I suspect the muted atmosphere might have had something to with this.

I'd rather have a louder atmosphere to cover the tirade of criticism that was coming out of some people's mouths in the West. We were 1 nil up, they really didn't need to be shouted at as if they were losing! And to the bloke in the middle of row C around the seat 102 mark, swearing at the ref is part and parcel of the game. If you object to someone calling the ref a t***er then take yourself and your kids off to the family stand - idiot!

Jesus, I miss one home game and TBV takes a pasting.

Think some of you now need to realise that the guys in V/W do make a big contribution to the atmosphere. Lets face it, you all noticed less drumming and singing today didn't you?...

Do you want it to be that quiet every game? Didn't think so.

Enough of the slating, how about the rest of you pull your finger out and do something about it, rather than expect V/W to do the job for you.

Yesterday goes to show how much worse it would be without TBV. So how about everyone makes a bloody effort, rather than slate the ones who have without doubt proved a point, even if it wasn't meant.

Oh and a few more points.

There is no dedicated singing section yet, how many times do I have to say it.

There were a load of 1st timers in our makeshift area yesterday, which meant the usual singers were split up.

And for the love of god, TBV is for the whole ground to get involved with, not just a section here and there.

Dont slate people for trying to improve things, get involved.

Well said Smiffy.

I've had my season ticket in the Blue Voice section all year and think the lads have done a tremendous job in getting some atmosphere going. You might not always hear us coz the ground's acoustics are so poor.

Yesterday as has been noted we had a lot of 1st time fans in amongst us and whilst they may be willing to join in with singing will probably not know any of the words and arent gonna be as passionate as if you have blue n white running through your veins.

I've always thought the atmosphere has been affected when we get larger crowds because being realistic this means it is more likely that we have a couple of thousand of day trippers or part time fans. Of course they are welcome coz their ticket money helps pay for the next Richie Foran but you're in denial if you dont think having non-believers in the crowd doesnt affect them as a whole.

How about those so disappointed with our efforts yesterday get their seats moved to the West Stand for one game and come and show us how it's done?

Simple awnser here.

No TBV = No Atmosphere
TBV = Atmosphere, however small it may be,

You guys do a great job handing out shizzle before the big matches and deserve a pat on the back, without them i can probably guess that we wouldn't have a new stadium to look forward to.

I for one appreciated the lack of atmosphere yesterday. It meant I could read my Jade Goody Special edition of OK magazine in a bit of reverential peace. It was annoying, being in the South Lower, that a few inconsiderate souls tried to make a racket above me, but the ceiling helped to block the noise and they soon piped down in any case.

If only it could be like this every game.
