I just want Monty to get double figures, Cook could end up being the lowest scorer:thumbdown:

"Good response from Hauritz when he saw Swann adopt the position"

Er.

Yeah.

Moving on.

Looks like Panesar wants in on Swann's game as well.

A decent effort by England to post 400+ in view of the fact that nobody has any idea how the pitch will play. It will be interesting to see how the convicts bat, I'd like them to have an uncomfortable 30 minutes or so before lunch.

That's tea. Aussies still only one down. Been dull as hell since their wicket. Mind you, Katich did take 153 balls to hit 50. Just put Freddie on and yorke the sods.

I watched the last hour or so after not being able to get near the internet all day and the Aussies are so in control its unreal, i can see both Ponting and Katitch doubling their personal tallies on the way to a team total of 600+ ... could be an uncomfortable last couple of days for us i feel

I do think that the way a cricketer bats mirrors their personality. Pietersen is a bit of a Lad, possibly a bit eccentric and, therefor, gets a good innings in before lashing at some awkward ball and getting out stupidly.

Ricky Ponting, I envisage, enjoys knitting and Tea.

... and fetish clubs, apparently

Why is Onions not in the first 11? I know they wanted to go with 2 spinners but as much as i love Monty he's just not up to it a the moment .
