Great play from england all round today.. just hope they can declare at the right time tomorro, had problems with it in the windies so should have learnt their lesson.

Would be a good idea to get the aussie's in before the rain comes if it does.. then the higher order batsmen will be on and off unsettling them if the rain was to hit

Hughes and Katich go early doors...

What's even better is, Katich was a no ball and it looks like the ball may have touched the ground witht he Hughes dismissal. Ponting is not happy at all.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, anyone starting to think the unthinkable ? After all this IS England and cricket we are talking about ?

The new ball will be cruical I feel, and if we can break this partnership before close of play, and have a bit of luck with the weather tomorrow we should be okay.

Personally, I would have had a bit of a bat this morning and got the lead above 550. Gone out in Twenty20 mode for 30/45 minutes, but the decision has been right so far with the 5 wickets. We will know by close of play tomorrow if Strauss made the right decision...

Get real, this is England we're talking about. We'll either completely balls it up and lose, muddle our way to a draw, or skittle 'em in about 3 hours.

Ive got tickets for tomorrow as well. Not sure I can face it! It's going to be excruciating!

Got a terrible feeling that the bowling inept Mitchell Johnson will carve up a quick 80 or so on the fall of the next wicket and we will lose.

i think we'll finally bowl them out around teatime, it won't be pretty but we'll do it.

If they're still around at teatime they'll have clocked up the runs they need easily
