If you were to receive a final sum from Sainsbury's, let's just say, for arguments sake, £10-12 million, would you:-
A) Settle ALL the debts that are currently keeping the club under transfer embargo?
B) Settle ALL the debts that may, in the short to mid term lead to the club being placed under another embargo?
C) Set up a special account from which only player and staff salaries can be withdrawn?
D) At least make a start on the new stadium, presumably in the hope that as it progresses, further investment becomes available?
E) All of the above?

Its clear he neither has the funding or backing to continue with FF, otgherwise it would of satrted a long time ago. Has he been, or is he in, talks with any serious investors who are able to Finance either his FF project or to inject funds into SUFC. Is heonlt willing to continue to persue FF on an 'all or nothing' basis or is he happy to accepted a diluted equity in his vanity project. Has he actually secured either a casino or hotel operator yet, signed on the dotted line.
Why is it clear? Nothing is clear to me other than that, until we get this work underway, we're pretty much stuck as we are - knowing nothing!

No it isnt, and thats a question that should be asked together with the rest of the questions you raise.
He clearly hasnt had the money to finance it but thats not proof he never will.

There are questions that need asking though and we may or may not be somewhat wise afterwards. Who knows...
