You couldn't be more wrong. Akinfenwa didn't really set he world alight at Gillingham last season and Tubbs started the season in the Championship (Bournemouth), where it was unlikely he would even start, to a loan spell at former club Crawley. As previously mentioned, he scored 9 in total last season. Akinfenwa is getting on a bit, at 32, so won't be much of a threat.

Just to point out, between them, Tubbs & Akinfenwa got 19 goals between them last year. Only 5 more than Corr scored on his own.

if we were going start the season with with Akinfenwa + Matt Tubbs up front :stunned: - I'll cut me season ticket up now :winking:
 
I see that AJ Leitch Smith is now a free agent and Cheltenham are apparently sniffing around him. I would like to think that Phil Brown is aware of this and is making enquiries as I'm sure he would be a great addition to the squad.
 
With sololik looking like going to yeovil, Starting to get concerned about our lack if success in the transfer market thus far. Come on Phil start working some magic.

Good shout that. Didn't realised he'd fallen out of favour at Crewe.
