Murkey, how many times do you have to be told lad!? Patience ia a virtue! Progress has been made this week but these things take time, and we are now into a 4-day weekend. I would expect some movement next week. You'll have to try to distract yourself over the Jubilee festivities. Just rest easier knowing that the club is working its arse off in the background to achieve its primary targets and is operating with a level of preparation, collaboration and professionalism not seen at this club in years.....possibly ever.
 
Here is a thought: even if we were to make seven signings before July the first and they all took place on different days we would still be confronted with no less than twenty one days when no signing was made. This would be 75% of the month of June!
 
Chris Phillips posted that we are unlikely to have any new signings this week. Some players are still on holiday, some might have several offers that they have to be considering. The playoffs aren't even finished yet and we might have a couple of big targets playing with their future decided after the final, depending on if they get promotion or not.

I can understand fully 👍🏻 Apologies guys for myself as I wasn’t being patience, I guess I got too excited and I thought there be few more coming this week.

Halifax Town release their retained "list", or more accurately, released three players with a vague message on who will stay.

Their local paper does a better job at saying who might be staying, with those whose contracts are expiring soon.

I was hoping Green's contract was expiring, but he seems to be staying. Maher and Bradbury (both CBs) are listed as contracts expiring. Warren is a RB who looked decent against Chesterfield in the play-offs IMO. At 23 he might require compensation, but only spent one season there so could be low.

Waters is a very interesting one, 27 years old and coming off his best scoring season (19 in all competitions) and his first double figure scoring season since 2016/17. Wonder if Wild will try to take him to Barrow with him.

We're ahead of the time scale many of us expected going into June. I'd rather be diligent with our recruitment than just go on a spree. More signings will come and I have every faith in this setup (how long since that has been the case?) that they will be decent ones. Be patient, I know we're used to everything being a crisis here but let's not see issues where there arent any.

Edit: Just seen your follow up Murkey, nothing to apologise for. We are all singing from the same hymn sheet for the first time in years. I also expected a bit more movement on certain deals believed to be 99% done...but we'll have to be patient.
 
Another day of not a lot happening. We were told it would be so. I'm sure lots of "behind the scenes" activity is happening. All in good time. Speculation can be mentally tiring. So I shall be content to wait and welcome any further new arrivals...when they arrive :-) In the meantime it's another glorious day out there...the garden landscaping project beckons.

It is interesting that Devonte Redmond, Wrexham's 25 year old midfield player, has been released. By most accounts, a very good player and at 6'2" quite a presence in the midfield area.

I wonder if Redmond got crowded out by Phil Parkinson's expensive new signings which ultimately failed to deliver the goal of promotion.
