No inside info (although I correctly predicted the signing date of our first signings which I suppose makes me a more reliable source than one of those anonymous twitter accounts) but my reading of the tea leaves is that we’re unlikely to announce someone this week.

I’ve no doubt things are being worked on but logistically it seems unlikely with a long weekend coming up that all the i’s will be dotted and t’s crossed in time to announce someone.

Just relax. Last week most people hadn’t heard of Lomas, now we are panicking because we haven’t signed him as soon as we had heard of him.

Maybe you do, but there is absolutely no need to panic, and ask twice in three/four days if there is any news when he was only rumoured to be a person of interest last week. And that is all it is, rumours.

He can also become unlikely best buds with Jason Demetriou after JD tried to murder him in cold blood during the final game of the season.

Have to say I found Matty very p,easy to and enjoyable in Our interactions since the player evening, we have exchanged several messages. But the mgmnt team made the dexcisions and i guess He could still return next season. However if they do Not bring him back I am sure they have others lined up to come in as well

From the tweet before that, Armani Little, Connor Lemonheigh-Evans and Joe Lewis have all turned down new deals too. Lewis is 22 so Torquay will be due compensation for him. Any of those three would be brilliant signings. Probably will be off to league clubs.

Christ, that's a huge blow for Torquay. Pretty much all their top players leaving.
Hopefully at least Wynter is on our shopping list. Probably a huge stretch to expect Lemon or Little to be achievable.

I think Michael Gyasi at Dover Athletic could be a good attacking option. He could be one for now and the future.
