Transfer News, Gossip & Speculation Summer/Autumn Transfer Targets/Rumours Thread 2022

I was wondering if anyone more knowledgable than me knows if the disruption at both Notts County and Halifax plays into our hands at all? Surely the search for a new manager will stop their search for any players and give us a potential head start?

Also might push some of their players who played last season out as well? I’m pretty sure both clubs would have players our management team would potentially be interested in.

Re: rumours from various accounts on Twitter or indeed on here, that’s the whole point of the new SZ rumour scale and why it’s been introduced on Page 1.

I’ll try and take everything into account and give an honest view (along with assistance from others) on what rating the rumour gets. It won’t always prove to be spot on, but hopefully it’s a bit more accurate than transferrumours8537628122 and the likes on Twitter!

Wrexham not going up sadly means more money to tap players up and maybe some we have our eye in
Still Mc ,Laughhlin and Bishop to watch ( Mansfield ) and Worrall ( Port Vale )

One thing we have over these other teams is Still and Collymore. They might just persuade a few here who usually would’ve swerved South Essex. Plus it’s clear we’re building an exciting team here, it’s a project and players might just want to be in on that.
