I know this is probably a joke, but he has been getting rave reviews and was being linked to Portsmouth a couple of months ago. He signed a new contract a week or so ago though.

Not in the know, but reading between the lines of someone on Twitter who said "our first signing could be a Smart piece of business" (and capitalised "Smart").
