Out of interest, how can a transfer be stopped because of insurance?

I didn't realise he had a heart condition.

We just need to use the insurance company that allowed us to sign James Walker when he failed his initial medical with heart problems!

Because the premium might be prohibitively expensive due to his medical history.

All seems very positive is this southend?

I'm hearing very conflicting things. Some saying it's dead in the water. Some saying were still exploring insurance options. Others saying it's a done deal and he's signing. Not sure what to believe!

Had this feedback on Khan from a Chesterfield fan...

"Khan is a brilliant player at this level. I personally don’t think we’ve got the best out of him at all this year, as he’d be perfect in a 3 man midfield as a number 8 with his driving runs and goal scoring ability. But as we’ve played a 3-5-2 & 4-2-3-1 all season he's either found himself too deep in midfield or on the wing (where he’s still decent btw).

I hope he stays but as Hans said, there are rumours of him being home sick and would like to return to the south. He’ll cost you some ££ though as I’m sure he’s still under contract with us"
