Seems a good deal at last Everyone wanted to stay at the Hall for as long as possible. Surely 4.5 million spread over time NO buyers come up Could the fans and trust stupid up the money if needed. This is cluching at straws I know . But like many others clubs have been brought by the fans .

If Kimura does accept this and buys the club and ground. They have already completed DD and done the fit and proper owner checks. So in reality this deal COULD be done fairly quick
That means they could probably become the new owners come Friday if everything is accepted by Wednesday right?

For example. If a new potential owner purchased roots hall and the club, could they possibly **** off FF and go another direction? I’m not sure

What RM has stated in that press release, is different to what he has quoted buyers.

That deal, quoted by RM is attractive and will probably now see more parties open and interested.

Due to the fact it’s all nearly available on a FPP, it also means there’s an opening for all sorts of opportunities.

I note, he has not said he will sell the training ground on a FPP, but sure a deal can be struck here.

Must say, I feel highly positive!
Crate - you think it’s different from what he’s told buyers as he’s dropped the price - or more Ronanory?

If the deal looks as good as it does could be see a wallop soon? I fear the stadium might be up for sale but the land might stay with Ron

No, it didn't. It's an asset of community value, actually.

But if RH has planning for residential units, doesn't realising that potential value mean moving SUFC elsewhere? Or am I missing something?

Bear with me, I know very little about this sort of stuff.
Yes but the club would own that asset and receive that future value if they sold for development. The club would have the choice to sell for that full value and move elsewhere, or stay and develop. Its a city centre location.

There are some points being missed here.
1. FF is off the table. RH is for sale at £4.5 million, which includes the car park. Not leasehold, so there are no rental or ground rent payments.
2. The council will lose the 500 or so flats at RH, for which planning permission has been granted.
3. A verbal deal has been agreed between the two MPs and the council to replace those 500 flats with roughly the same number at FF because NO NEW STADIUM will be built there.
4. RH cannot be an attractive purchase proposition unless it is fully redeveloped. This is likely to mean a ground share at some stage, if only because building works are likely to make entry and exit hazardous. I don’t think the redevelopment can be done piecemeal because the pitch faces the wrong way for an increase in capacity to be feasible.

I am not an accountant but I think the terms are extremely fair, attractive even.
And nobody really wanted to have to tramp to FF to watch a football match.
