Been decorating all evening and have come back on here, and it's gone off like a frog in a sock!

I haven't heard this info myself, but london shrimper is a good egg and has never been wrong with what he's told me, so I trust it.

It also stands up to logic. I finally started to despair a little more over weekend but I can't shake the feeling that, logically, I think he has to sell. Why wouldn't they keep talking? He'll try to squeeze every last penny out of it but ultimately, he wants to sell and Kimura want to buy. He knows the squeeze is on from several different sources and that an adjournment on Wed will not automatically mean we're safe from further sanctions.

I'm not getting too excited just yet as I understand this is where things were last Thursday, with legal and compliance teams being re-engaged and working feverishly to get a deal done before Friday, but by Friday it was at stalemate again.

I know RM has been working on his witness statement over the weekend to request an adjournment on Wed, and has asked the 2 local MPs to do the same, so he's keeping his options open.

So I'll reserve my excitement for now.

It's encouraging though. I think it would need to be done before COP tomorrow for evidence to be ready for court, and would certainly need to be done by then if RM wants to try to put the club into Administration.
Are you @Booma in disguise?

This has to be the most posts in a thread in one day? They’re pulling out, we’re close to a deal, they’re pulling out, we’re close to a deal, rinse and repeat. FFS!

Couple of questions
Is this £1.5m a football debt he must clear or another he can worry about later (pretty critical to his ability to clear what he needs to)?
Has this other party even yet started DD - if not that would be weeks (many on here would say months)?
1) it's not a football debt but for reasons that may become clear it must be paid

2) No idea

First day of new job tomorrow....i shall continue my current work pattern of not working and trawling the Internet all day looking for any glimmer of hope in this sorry saga.
IF anything happens are we all piling into the blue boar
They keep doing the switcheroo thing at the moment. One day the Blue Boar is open and the Spread shut. And vice versa.

To concur with London Shrimper. I'm hearing very similar. Admittedly not from my best HP Sauce who's never been wrong yet. He won't tell anyone anything on this subject. But from my Tesco sauce who said they got through a lot today and are much more on the same page. It was looking bad these last 7 days he said, but now he's very hopeful. But then, RM is involved, so anything could happen.
