Steady, if it weren’t for the handful of ITK’s on this site, the majority of fans wouldn’t know **** all about the ins and outs of this club. Players not being paid, transfers, WUP’s etc etc. If you’re relying on official club statements, you’ll be waiting a while.

You’ve got a choice, really. Wait for official communication from the club, or choose to believe some herberts on the internet. If you choose the latter, fine, just choose the ones who have a proven track history of being on the money.

You can disagree with people of course you can. But to think, you know what, I'm gonna log on to the zone and effectively tell people I don't know that their excitement and optimism is "hysteria" is a bit sad in my opinion.

But who the blooming heck are you to tell people that their excitement or in the know info is hysteria?

Agreed, GBJ summed up the current situation (sale agreed, subject to DD). If blue exile wants to wait for official confirmation of this, that’s his prerogative, you certainly aren’t going to get it from Ron, so we rely on those ITK to keep us updated. Slandering every individual with inside knowledge as some sort of attention whore though, is well below the belt IMO.

Maybe some have got a bit carried away assuming the sale’s over the line, when there’s one last hurdle to clear. Having said that, who can blame them. We’ve been through so much **** that of course an imminent sale’s going to be celebrated! I’m certainly cracking open a beer or two tonight, onwards and upwards!

It’s Saturday. It’s the hottest day of the year. Believe it or not, even ITK have better things to do than to sit on SZ all day updating people.

@Medway Blue summed it up best yesterday. Nothing has changed since then. It’s all in hand. @GBJ has confirmed things today as well.

Grab a beer, enjoy the Champions League final, and enjoy the sunshine. Can’t see anything significant happening at the weekend.

Wouldn’t be concerned about non sensical SM- as if people believe much of what they see on SM anyway.

On the Stan piece, stop and think what Kimura Performance are all about. Stan is a very well known sports journalist and broadcaster with significant contacts. The guys running Kimura are bright enough to not just want to retain Stan within the club, but to be very alive to ways to enhance the relationship that could be very interesting for their business not just the club. Stan’s involvement would considerably enhance the profile of Kimura Performance? Of course that may or may not interest Stan..

What Matt Slater may say and the actual reality may be a touch different when it comes to timelines. From my source/s (who I'd describe as pretty reliable and trustworthy) that's what I was told so I'm only relaying there messages. It's all going to happen, it's just going to take a bit more time than everyone would like. If players we wanted to keep were leaving every other day then it's time to get concerned, but so far we've only lost Murphy and he's added very little to the cause.

TBF it’s not what Matt Slater says- it what his sources on both sides of the transaction tell him. And his sources are better than most.
Thus far I don’t think he’s got much if anything wrong. I do think probably what’s coming out of the Kimura side is more reliable.

I have no idea how reliable and connected this guy is but it’s a different viewpoint to Matt Slater and Chris Phillip’s previous comments about the takeover.

I thought he’s been very positive about the takeover, I’ve had a quick look on Twitter and can’t see anything contradictory (publicly at least). If you have have can you share please.
