Apparently their business had a turn over of over 1 billion. Not sure of the accuracy or how much they are personally worth but let's face it. Ron is essentially insolvant so anyone is already ahead of what we have
No. They may have facilitated that level of funding for clients over a period, but their business is based on arrangement fees or similar. I did share their filed accounts previously- turnover just shy of £3m last accounts. But that’s misleading- what matters is their access to funding which is core to their business. They are NOT billionaires expecting this to be a money pit. They will look to have a sustainable, successful business (actually what we should want as well)

Spoke to Peter this morning in Tesco's, have known him for over 56 years. played five-a-side football against him (well sort of?) :Winking: in the mid to late 60's for Great Wakering Y.C. against Rocheway Y.C.. Back then you would just stand back and admire that special ability.that he always had even at such a young age.

Very interesting, but what did he say about the takeover?

Most likely be Kristofer Tremaine he is the founder and CEO of kimura.

Given the social media posts I'd expect it to be Simon Jackson although they may bring someone else in
I wonder. I wouldn't be surprised if they appoint someone else (heaven knows who) as I assume that they're very busy with their day jobs.

Just my speculation...who knows, but as @shrimpereeee says, it will be interesting to see who it is.

Blimey I leave this thread alone for a few hours and it’s all kicked off! So what I’ve gleaned from a quick scan of the last 10 pages is the deal is done, except it’s not and is gonna take another 2 weeks, at which point Shrimpet Steve will be announced as Chairman, Ron will be his secretary, we’ve got a billion quid to spend, and are in talks with Harry Kane. I might have imagined the last bit. Is that about it?
