Streaming - DAZN

For what it's worth...

I had a play this morning and as others have discovered, my usual VPN route failed when I tried to login to DAZN.

I then tried ExpressVPN, set to teleport me to the USA, and that let me in and I've set up my DAZN account.

I may still come a cropper when it comes to payment, but progress at least.

Hmmm, my connection to DAZN via ExpressVPN, which worked fine yesterday, doesn't work today - browser just hangs. Maybe a glitch on my crappy broadband, or maybe they are fast learners on the international teleporting front.

I think I'll be ok today for the match and while the old National League TV page is available, but I'm less confident about the future in DAZN world now.

The page does eventually load but not every time. I kept refreshing then leaving it for a minute or 2, like the 5th time maybe it eventually loaded (on Nord)

And you have the ability to stream the rest of the games you can't get to. We don't via traditional means.
I'm a long term supporter .This is the only way I can watch most games.A good mate of mine sees every game we play, home & away.I can't afford to do that.Sounds like you can't either.

OK thanks - I'll try leaving it a bit longer.

Interesting development which is probably only of interest to the few Irish-based Zoners.

Ridiculously, Ireland has so far been treated in the same way as the UK, meaning that Irish-based viewers had to put up a VPN to view games in the blackpout period. But I've just logged in to NLTV and have got into today's stream without a VPN at all. So perhaps DAZN isn't or won't be treating Ireland as part of the UK. As well as being historically correct, if this situation persists this may open up new possibilities for us Irish exiles!

I don¡t mind you paying full price & watching SU games on Tues,That's your right!
Not my right to watch a game when I’m 200 miles away from Roots Hall then….strange plastic supporter you are….because you decide to leave this country ( good move) you are saying that we cannot watch it in the Uk when we can’t get to the game….?

I recently spoke to a supporter of another club, who told me that supporters should just go to the games instead of moaning about them not being available online or on TV. He said proper fans go to matches. As I told him, everyone's situation is different. I would go to every game, but being a Southend supporter who lives in Birmingham, with a son who has disabilities, it never going to to possible to go to every match. Online access is a godsend.
Sounds like your friend is a single loser. He can go to all the games he likes. No right to even think we he does let alone say it. Time to unfriend.

As predicted, games are already being streamed on IPTV , you’ve got to pay and we haven’t through that!

What is obvious from all the posts so far is that the 3pm Saturday blackout is a pathetic meaningless irritation at our level. Next week is an international break for the premier League and championship plus any lower EFL clubs that claim loss of too many players to call ups. What is the logic that makes it okay to stream our game from Altrincham next week due to absence of the above games when it would normally be unavailable? I'm no more or less likely to physically go to alty because it's international break week! Streaming of midweek games is allowed but surely these are the very games that are likely to be affected as they are less convenient for to get to than Saturday afternoon matches.
I can still get to most home games but have long since given up going away so on a dull December Saturday afternoon would like nothing more than to open a beer and watch our heroes sway, and Pay £10 for the privilege. This is not allowed though.
Madness!

Not quite sure about this national league football coverage on dazn. Do you now have to sign up for a year or monthly subscription to get NL and it includes all other sports that I am not interested in? £89.99 for a year upfront or £9.99 a month

Nah it's all screwy how their pages work sometimes but if you start to sign up for an account and then just go back to the home page when you get to that subscription page you'll be signed up for a free account. Then go to the DAZN NL page and subscribe there to the weekly, monthly or season pass for the NL (https://www.dazn.com/en-GB/welcome/nltv - it'll redirect you to your country version). Just make sure you are already in the country you are subscribing from when you sign up or it'll default your "home location"

Does anyone know is the Altrincham game being shown on Dazn tv at 3 o’clock as it is international weekend ?
I've not used DAZN yet, but it looks like I can buy a weekly pass. That means I can watch any of the games scheduled for Saturday. Ergo, as it's an International weekend, then yes we can stream it. That's the theory anyway, it could all go tits up on the day!

We clicked on the link on the sky app for DAZN tv to be able to watch national league tv and paid the annual subscription. Now found out that we have to pay an extra monthly fee to watch the national league . We didn’t want the other sports on dazn. Does anyone know if this is correct. We used the link on iPhone for national league. All seems very confusing especially for us old people that are not up with technology.

Fortunately, I started up Saturday morning, thinking that the transfer may not be perfect. Glad I did because I did encounter some problems. I got transfered from NLTV to DAZN only to find that they doidn't appear to recognise me. Difficulty getting the log in page and all I found was the subscription page for new customers. As I had already paid a year's subscription to NLTV I wasn't too keen to provide credit card details, in fear they may charge me again! In the end, I did manage to get a signing in page and was asked to create a new password. Having done this I had problems signing in until I resorted to my old password, which worked! I then tried to look at my account details, which weren't available! I think one has to consider the transfer of information from NLTV to DAZN as a work in progress  . Will be tempted to connenct early again on Saturday...........just in case there are any difficulties
