As long as we keep Miley, CTK, Scott Morris, Lomas, Kensdale and Cardwell we can build a decent new side.

I am resigned to losing Hobson and unfortunately Sandat.
 
Sorry to see Steve go, but we have a good replacement in Colin, and we have had a good track record of decent goalkeepers coming up the ranks in recent years.

Agree we need another keeper, no question because it is a tough division. I also think we will lose Hobson, which will be a big loss, but we have the nucleus of a very good side and with a few additions (and no transfer window to worry about) we are not on such a tightrope as we were even last season (of course assuming everything gets sorted).

The big thing going in our favour following RM's departure will be exactly that! Ron will be gone and the new owners will not be buying the club to see us stay as a mediocre National League club!! Agents will kow this, and so will players - so anyone who might have been scared off by our terrible reputation for not paying our bills might be tempted to re-think!
 
Most of you on here will always cover up bad news with....we can do better, lot of cobblers.
Steve Arnold was probably in the top 3 National League keepers, a position that will get you an extra 12 points a season. Collin is competent and will probably go on to better things but imo lacks the inches to be really decent.. (Yes Flavs would have been better than Bentley with a bit of height) Jim Stannard his coach at Palace told me he was top notch but too short.
Anyway, he has gone now but please don't spout the injury bu ll**** all the time, he was player of the SEASON and his latest injury would have been spotted in a third of the time at a proper funded club....massive loss, just admit it for once!
 
Shame really! I would have driven him to sutton for free! Decent keeper until he got injured buy then made bad mistakes which cost us playoffs! Also he can't travel on a coach anymore so the new owners will bring in someone who can travel.
