Maybe we should just admit that Spain were the better side and overall were the best team in the tournament, both possession wise and being ruthless when it mattered.
I've always said that part of the reason GS played conservatively is because defensively we aren't good enough to play at full throttle. I don't agree that we just sat back after Palmer's equaliser; for the next couple of minutes we attacked aggressively but Spain got through it, kept the ball well and exploited the gap we left when we subbed a central midfielder for an attacker.
