What's your starting 11 and result prediction for Saturday?

I take it the appeal failed, against Macca’s red card. Oh well...it is what is is. Not looked forward to a home game like this in ages.

I have 2 spaces available in a box tomorrow for the match. Half full of Ipswich fans (in laws) going spare if anyone is keen. Donation to prostate cancer in return!

Based on the Echo report, I make it that we have 18 players available for the game - that works :Thumbs up:

Now, all they have to do is to work with, and for, each other;

Oxley
Elvis Taylor Kiernan Demi (is he left footed?) / Ralph if not

Hutch Milligan Dieng Egbri (a wing outlet)

Hump Hopper

Subs; Bishop Ralph/Demi Shaunessy Cox Goodship Rush Aquah

Loads of forwards (for a change) UTB

I think you're right about the 18, and on paper/Football Manager, that might work but this is real life and I can't see any way that Sol will leave out one of the senior pros at the club (who as well as being top scorer for the last few seasons and a big voice on the pitch also played pretty well on Tuesday) in favour of a pretty much untried kid on the wing just because he prefers that formation.

The spine of the team is a bit of a problem really due to injuries and suspensions, but I think he will go

Oxley

--------Shaughnessy Milligan Kiernan----------

Demi-------------------------------------Elvis

Hutch---------------Dieng

Cox

Humphrys Hopper

Subs: Bishop, Ralph, Taylor, Goodship, Acquah, Egbri, Rush,
With three suspensions and all the injuries, it's pretty much down to the bare bones for tomorrow.

The spine of the team is a bit of a problem really due to injuries and suspensions having a **** squad, but I think he will go

Corrected for accuracy.
I like this selection though, from what we have available

This isnt that bad on paper.
Full backs overlapping
Forwards drifting wide to support
Target man
Strong mid defence

Elvis Kiernan Shaun Ralph

Milligan hyam

Cox dieng goodship

Hooper

Bench:
bishop

Really looking forward to this, though have had to cancel the flags today as the conditions are too dangerous for our youngsters - elf n safety, n all that.

What's the weather like in Southend today? Any chance of it being rained off?
I'd say Lincoln's game at home to Bolton will be in doubt. Its been raining here non stop since late last night.

Light rain forecast for kick-off and overcast at the moment. Don’t expect any issues and the pitch can normally take a fair amount of rain.

Ok I’ve had my first couple of Guinness, buoyed by the rugby and I’m going to predict a 3-1 victory for the mighty Shrimpers. Shortly leaving Westcliff for the Hall. COYBB!!
