And so I was lazy it appears

The header on the site suggest a preferred formation of 442. But the reality over 30 games in charge at Macclesfield is (and fill your boots..)

10 x 442 double 6 (google it and learn!!)
3x 442 diamond
1x 442
7x 352
2x 3412
1x 3421
2x 532
2x 4231
1x 4411
1x433

Now it is true if we look at last 13 games
1x 442 double 6
2x 3412
1x 3421
7x 352
2x 532

So I take it back- I have no idea what he might start with based on history- but based on resources and zero wide players and that we are at home I would guess 3412, 3421 or 352
Home this clears it up once and for all. Now off for a lie down..

is 442 double 6 just 442 but with 2 holding midfielders so deeper than a standard 442?

NEW Southend United manager Sol Campbell has made three changes to the Shrimpers’ starting line-up for his first game in charge against Ipswich Town this afternoon.
