CP has pointed out that we have lost our last five games against Swindon and not beaten them in eight. Time to put that right....

Oh testicles - I bet Kypo is gutted to be missing out on an opportunity for first team action.

Anyone have some information on which Swindon players we should be looking out for?

The lad Goddard has stepped up from the National League and looked really decent when I've seen them play. Skillful and good feet, got goals in him too.

150? They average more than us, they should bring at least 400 even if there form is rubbish at moment.

Perhaps it is just me .......... but Southend is quite a hard place to get to at times.

If you go by car (or coach) you have the M25 to contend with - and during the peak time as well.

If you go by rail then you have to get across London by tube to Liverpool Street ........ and then do the reverse journey late at night.

Not that I am wishing any Swindon fans any joy from the match but those that do make the journey tonight have done well to get out and support their team.

Confirmed that Timlin will start for Coker.

I'd have gone Kyprianou even though it would probably have stretched him. He'd have had Anton Ferdinand shouting in his ear all evening which can only be of benefit. Not sure I understand the point of having youth players these days - what's the point of being a second choice left back when a central midfielder gets picked above you when there's an injury?

Matsuzaka on bench ahead of Barrett:winking:

As it should be. Players like Bridge, Matsuzaka, Kyprianou should be on the bench every week, otherwise there's no chance of progression. If we're committed filling the bench with 30 something pros (and we have a few) we should dispense with the youth team.

Kyp's also injured.
