These recent and upcoming home games just go to show how much potential revenue we're missing out on still being at Roots Hall.

Not this clap trap again !

Ron has NEVER explained the revenue stream thing if FF is ever built.
Without the main stand then it's game over virtually.

Coventry anyone?

Yeah because a stadium that can barely fit 10k brings in the same revenue as a 3 sided stadium that can accommodate 14k.

That extra 4k at £15 per head = 60k per game.

And that's being speculative with the price. Obviously we wouldn't fill that much unless we were in the championship.

This is the only game this season which has been near a sell out. Wimbledon came close and might have with a bigger away following. Do two games a season against fairly local opposition on Boxing Day and New Year's Eve warrant a new stadium?

Every pro club relies on revenue from the main stand...bars ,restaurants, boxes, and so on.

Any 3 sided stadium without the main stand is an absolute disaster in the making.

To regard a home capacity of 8,100 odd seats (unless X/Y opened - which extremely rare), of which 1,000 are in South Lower and a further 100(?) limited view as being sufficient is intriguing.....have you ever considered that a stadium with more 'home' seats (with greater legroom) and no 'limited views' might, just might, attract a lot more people?

Very subjective though...Colchester's ground can hold 10,000,how many times has it been full?

Look at every stadium outside of the prem and see how many empty seats are at games.

Nothing as good as a non-like for like comparison is there, eh? Futile argument.
