Questions marks remain over Husins fitness levels on whether he'll start tonight's game but he'll definitely be in my starting 11.

Moncur goes straight in to the starting 11, I've never seen him play but I'm sure we'll see at some point tonight.

I'm still unsure on who to play at left center back. Ralph will happily overlap Bridge giving you a more attacking option but Gubbins will hold his position and can play some decent through balls. Maybe this question will be answered depending on the opposition.
It’s all about opinions, sure. Mine is that Ralph at LWB and Gubbins LCB doesn’t work. The natural balance doesn’t seem to be there as was the case last season when Nathan, Wes and Jack used to link up well and instinctively knew where each other were. I was surprised Kev didn’t revert back to Bridgey at LWB for Hartlepool, I’ll be amazed if he doesn’t tonight, now we’ve got Husin and Moncur as options.

Not sure if Moncur is fit to start. Assuming he is:

Collin
Taylor, Kensdale, Ralph
GSM, Moncur, Miley, Coker, Bridge
Cardwell, Walker
If he’s not:

Collin
Taylor, Kensdale, Ralph
GSM, Miley, Coker, Bridge
Wood
Cardwell, Walker
Feeling slightly more optimistic about this one now. Really looking forward to it.

5-2-1-2 for:

Gus, Taylor, Kensdale, Ralph, Bridge
Miley, Husin
Moncur
Walker, Cardwell

No disrespect to Boston, but we may as well throw Moncur in. He is experienced enough to just get on and deal with being dropped in the deep end. Boston need to be put to the sword tonight. Looking forward to this one.

Sorry if off topic but does anyone know a way of listening to the game tonight when not in Essex? Currently in Devon but will be driving so wondering if any chance?

Thank you!!

I'd like to see Mcdonald get some sub minutes, bring him through a bit, i liked the way he stepped in against Yeovil with our backs to the wall and stood out. Sort of player that could show up next season away at Hartlepool for example, or Accrington Stanley for that matter. With that experience of training and learning off Miley, Noor and Moncur, can only improve his game.

We have been told Noor won’t be rushed back. I would hope Moncur will be given 60/70 mins and then Noor will replace him.
That makes most sense.

Has Moncur had the chance to train with us if he signed yesterday? If so that would make it even more likely that he will start.

I can’t see Ralph not starting, and with Noor coming back and Moncur for Jack it’s LWB or the bench. And I think he has to play….
