Our final ball was hopeless, Barnett could play for a week and not have a decent chance made for him. We desperately need an attacking coach if Brown stays, and after today's performance a midfield, defending and tactical coach too!

Bentley - 7 not a lot to do
Thompson - 7 - game ruined by his booking but was ok
Barrett - 6 + 1 + 1 one point extra for the goal, one point extra for his passion. Sadly he was turned and lacked pace too often. He was playing blinkered and constantly passed the ball to the crowded right hand side when Coker and McCaughlin were in acres of space on the left
Coker 7 - Quite simply Ben is not a CB and plays much better at left back.
Worrell - 8 - Great work rate and threatening
McCaughlin - 7 - Played well but gave the ball away many times
Deegan - 7 - in and out of the game, overall lost his battles
Atkinson - 7 - ditto Deegan plus backwards, sideways, backwards, sideways, backwards subbed
Leonard - 8 - This guys work rate even after a long lay off was impressive
Payne - 7 + 1 Extra point for the goal but was in and out of the game. I think he will find it tougher now other teams have woken up to him
Barnett - 7 Really felt for the guy, not one decent chance or pass made to him the whole game, back constantly to goal and the limited passes he received were waist height or above. if I were him I would be off if Brown stays, for any striker in a team set up by Brown is on a hiding for nothing and his career would be threatened.

White 5 - did nothing except that once again the cross for their second goal came from his position
McQueen - 6 - not really enough chance for him to influence the game
Weston 5 + 5 five extra points for his comedy efforts on his impersonation of being a football player (I usually like Myles Weston as a player but today he was farce)

Performance 6 - Awful sums it up!

I wasn't there today so can't comment or judge much , but taking off a forward and bringing on a defender in the last few minutes when leading ( even by 1 goal ) is hardly a tactical no-no. In fact I would go as far as saying it's quite standard practice.
Kick Brown by all means for other things , but not this.

I disagree. You go 2-1 with 5 mins left, you have the upper hand and the momentum. Keep attacking, this keeps the pressure on the opposition and they can't get back into the game. You take an attacking player off in exchange for a defensive player, you immediately play deeper, allowing the opposition to attack and risk conceding

I clapped the fleetwood super goal, so did lot of others.... We where crap and asked for it. Sitting back near the end, sorry we asked for that, you sit near your own goal, basic stuff, it brings them closer, push up , push up people were screaming.... A joke Worrel was good...... Jack did a little and his goal was good.... Sponsor man of the match Adam B? Wtf blind fold, he was at sea.... We asked for it...... Never sit back like that.

Theres some very generous ratings there for an awful performance!

A bit harsh on Myles - the second goal only came about because he ferociously chased down a loose ball that was heading out for a goal kick.

A guy behind me said that it looked as if their minds were on the beach rather than the match. It was hard not to have sympathy with that comment.

Were you sitting near me? I heard someone say that too!

I thought Worrall, Leonard and McLaughlin were easily our best three players. Having Lenny back showed exactly how poor our midfield has been recently. I really hope the club offers Worrall a contract, he's the only one out there properly showing he wants it

I thought Thompson was going to get sent off, he seemed to lose it at one point and was like a headless chicken for about 20 minutes. The set up doesn't suit Coker. Deegan was either brilliant or awful today - a couple of sublime passes and then mad moments like that "run around" the ball in the box as we were trying to clear! Payne didn't give up, which is to his credit. Bentley pulled off a fantastic save early on but as the match went on, his kicking seemed terribly odd. Barnett looked to be carrying an injury - very lethargic. Atkinson did ok, unlucky to be subbed.

Also, Weston's chasing down a "lost" ball led directly to Jack's goal, so however much people think he didn't do much, he did something others didn't bother with. That's to his credit. I'd like to see McQueen given more of a chance and I think White coming on was to balance the defence a bit and supposedly allow midfield to push up, which they spectacularly failed to - both goals came in from their right (our left) so we need to look at the weaknesses.

6s all round, except 7 for Payne, 7.5 for McLaughlin and 8s for Worrall and Leonard.

I sit in T block, you sit in V block, OBL sits in somewhere else block. This bloke must of had a very loud voice because he was sitting in the row behind me.

Some spectacularly high marks for one of the worst performances and games for a long time.

Payne was awful and constantly gave the ball away. Did one good thing in 90 minutes. Barnett would have done his chances of a perm deal no good at all, was so slow and caught in possession so often.

12 points from the last 11 games says it all. A major overhaul of the team is required in the summer or we will be back in league two before you can say Fossetts Farm.

I was'nt there today so forgive me if i'm missing something obvious, but why if PB plays three at the back, doesn't he play Cokker as the wide midfield guy with say Barrett behind him as the left sided one of three? That way Cokkers attacking abilities can be utilized as well as providing defensive cover for Barrett.

I don't disagree with you , just saying that Brown shouldn't be slagged off for the same thing Wenger , Ferguson , Mourinho do or did

Sums it up brilliantly, 100% spot on

Agree in principle but the likes of Ferguson etc had a much better quality of player coming on and the other 10 players are much better quality to allow that tactic

Second half of the season has been dogged by poor defensive displays and a lack of clean sheets.

Prosser at Northampton and Bolger at Bury. Just saying..........
