Four wins on the spin....brilliant stuff. Performances, formations, individuals blah blah blah....results are the only thing that matter and we are getting them. Carry on the good work chaps.

2-0 win against a team who had no desire to go for the win. Probably got lucky with the penalty as it was a very poor mistake from their goalkeeper. Great penalty from Corr and nice move for the 2nd, wish Weston did that more often as he is capable.

Worrall is quickly becoming a key player, 4 goals already and he keeps making those runs into the box to score or put in a dangerous cross.

Yes, luckily we have achieved 12 points from 12 by beating 4 woeful teams in a row. :facepalm:

I totally get the logic and sometimes would agree with this, but when you see teams making simple mistakes when not under pressure that says more about them than the opposition IMO. The penalty was the most obvious example of this. Their manager certainly isn't happy with them.

As an aside the effort is clearly there IMO, and I certainly wouldn't knock that .

Either a joke, or because he was actually very good the last 20 minutes and they forgot about the other 70 minutes.

The transformation in him was immense, one minute couldnt do anything, then created two clear chances for Worrall and a great shot just tipped over. If he could play like that for 90 minutes he would be some player!

Overall fairly solid if uninspiring performance with lack of quality in the final 3rd as always, until the penalty when we then came alive.

Worrall again has an impact, he has been key in this winning run.

Bit of realism needed, if Weston could or any other player could perform like he did in the last 20 minutes for the whole game then;

1/ He wouldn't be playing in league 2
2/ We would win every game 8-0

I have enjoyed watching Southend for over 30 years thanks...home and away. Its never about style or entertainment. ...its in my blood....and when we win I like it....

May I suggest you seek other forms of entertainment then. The fact....and remember that word....FACT....we are on a good run of results and well placed in the league table. If you are looking to league 2 football for guaranteed entertainment then you will inevitably be disappointed at some stage. Good luck in finding the entertainment you are looking for....I cant wait for wycombe away

I was one of he guys that helped pick the MOM and believed that Westons workrate and commitment was better than any other with the possible exception of Payne.
The first 60 mins were not great and we were struggling to pick a player for MOM however Weston helped change the game and fully deserved his award.
We are four points off top and we still have negativity on this site. DWB you were one of the guys that a few weeks ago was suggesting that Brown should be sacked! The way you and some other individuals on this site show your support for the team is pathetic. This club would be better off without your so called support - maybe you should try supporting Dave Webbs other team - Chelsea!

Couldn't get to the game today. However thre appears to be agreement breaking out on the forum; poor team performance, Timlin MoTM, O'Toole unfit, still lacking cutting edge in final third, 3 points most important and a great November (keep that lucky moustach White!). I guess PB's lucky cap and whippet stay for another few weeks.

I thought Weston was ok but IMO never MOM but that's my opinion.
