Post-Match Thread and Ratings Southend United 0-3 Barnet

My final word on Saturday. Having seen and spoken to both Ben Coker and Zak Brunt while they and the others were all coming off the pitch, I have to say that the Barnet players looked a lot more relaxed than our players did as they came off from the pre match warm up. All joking and chatting with each other - ours are never like that these days. I know some of them like to be really into a routine before kick off and see it almost as a ritual, but I am a little worried about this big difference.
We've had zero team spirit since the Kensdale debacle.

I wouldn’t say such a thing if I was guessing.

Have to be careful what I say but the incident definitely unsettled the team spirit, at least at the time when it was being investigated.
I have no doubt that team spirit was affected, how could it not be. But the doesn't mean it was handled badly necessarily. However, I'm taking this thread way off topic so I'll stop here.

So why is this? Were there different views from within on how that situation should have been handled?
I must stress this is complete guess work. I do not know any insider knowledge but something like that coming to a head in an environment full of 25/30 blokes I don't think is ending in a calm conversation.

I'm sorry but it's no coincidence our confidence has looked severely dented since that day.

Awful performance. These players are not good enough.COSU need to prove they have the funds so we can buy some quality players instead of scrapping around the bargain basement for signings.Maher just not good enough and time to go.

After what I witnessed yesterday I would make drastic changes, can't see what there is to lose atm.

We have been shocking so many times this season that anything is worth a try including giving JW a start.
Maher DID -stupidly !—start Josh Walker.
Stupidly because Walker and Kendall, both quick and small, were never going to be able hold the ball up—it kept coming straight back.
Surely anyone could see that Bonne had to start. But then again we’re saddled with a manager who couldn’t use his most skilful midfielder effectively and now leaves the best of the rest on the bench. (Moncur and Morton !).
If your JW wasn’t Josh Walker, I don’t think either John White or Jack Wood would merit a place in our reserve team if we had one.
