As a bit of a Post Scriptum after last Saturdays debacle:

In the Coupe de France tonight Nice (league 1) lost to Stade Briochin (4th tier). Nice were leading 1-0 with two minutes to go. Final result:

Stade Briochin 2 (Hugo Boudin 88, 90+7)
Nice 1 (Tom Louchet 54)

The timing of that winner sounds a bit familiar!

Almost as if our "on paper" formation isn't as important as some on here would have you believe.

I think it can be where our 3 centre backs can mark a single forward. I’d agree if one of them would push into midfield much more to make up the numbers in certain games or at stages of games. We revert to a forward coming back (or subbed) to add that number.

If a defender doesn’t see many options in front of them but an easy ball sideways they’ll pick the sideways option. Let’s try and make it easier to make the forward pass.
