Yeah I gave up and went down to get a paper ticket today mate.
Living 30 miles away it's a bit of a trek for me!
Ho hum, I thought I was on to something to beat the queues as well. Doh.
Yeah I gave up and went down to get a paper ticket today mate.
The only way to beat this is for all our fans to turn up and generate an atmosphere like the Gills home game last october,.
at least would reduce the risk of being surrounded by Spammers. Likewise I will probably not go because the condescending Southend-based scummers rile me too much.
Makes me laugh when you go on the wet spam message boards and they say things like.
" I only live ten minutes from roots hall so im going to give the southend pikeys some stick" Mate your local and support west ham, you are a local pikey.
" Southend are a joke and should be grateful they have us coming down, they only get like 3500 every week"
" Once we fill the away end we will fill there ground. I reckon it will kick off like last time and we can laugh at them "
If there is trouble against the mockneys it will be the clubs fault for selling tickets to the wrong people. They were given 2700 seats
1. So what, are you afraid of them?. They are no different to you.
2. Poor excuse for not supporting your team.
I will be there in my normal seat in V block cheering on the lads, and for all our so called fans making excuses for not attending then shame on you.
EDIT: GlasgowSUFC is spot on.
Cheers mate (at least some people still value my perspective on current events)
Last time we played Southend we did not have Block V as Blue Voice . Surely block V will end up being 'ours' . Even if there are spam fans in it they will be outsung , and THEY will fill uncomfortable. All the people who are not going becasue of West hams fans in the home stand spoiling the atmosphere, isn't the answer to go to V for one match or even the back of the family stand assuming Bluebeard will be there?
Apologies if I have missed the point
Im in my usual seaso seat in the v block. If your thinking of not coming then go to this block or close by and lets create a great atmosphere and show them spammers that we do have great support.
You know what, i might just do this. I'll be no-where near my seaso seat in the East, it'll feel like an away game!
Is there a bar in the West?
Well done Tommy, you got my vote. Feckin hate Spammers.
We are 3 leagues below West Ham so to them we are a little club, and their fans have every right to think that and as far as im concerned as long as they dont want a fight can sit wherever they like. We play many pre season matches over the years with clubs 3 leagues or less below us in the football structure. I have been to many of these matches and sat wherever ive like (or mostly stood) and ive heard many of our fans giving it the Billy big balls to their fans and taking the p**s. So what is the difference.

I very rarely miss home friendlies but will give this one a miss. I attended the previous match against them and spent a most unenjoyable afternoon sitting near Spammer fans who were there in numbers in the East Stand arrogantly wearing their shirts in our "home" end. (Imagine them doing that at the New Den!)
Does anyone remember that awful stall selling West Ham trash in the piece of land near the Golden Lion?
I really don't want to spend a few hours just seething with anger. The only thing that would make me attend is if SUFC made a statement that anyone wearing West Ham colours would not be allowed in the East, South and West stands. (This should apply to league games also)
