Ticket News Sittingbourne FC H Isuzu FA Trophy - 1st February 2025 3pm

I agreed Saturday was absolutely shambolic but we are not woefully out of form. Lost 2 in the last 10 games with those being against teams placed 2nd and 3rd. We also drew with the league leaders in that spell.

Although our current squad is quite concerning. It’s not any goals in it at all
Sittingbourne would be rubbing their hands as they fancies their chances and make history.

That is a one view.

The other is we simply don't score goals. Personally don't see drawing so many games and reading Southend 0 as a positive.

This has got disaster written all over it.

Big day out for a minnow against a big club woefully out of form.

They score goals for fun and we don't score any.

Another game when a defeat would mean another toxic atmosphere.
We'll smash them easily and have a proper knees up, as we march to the next round. The doomsters on here will need a weekend off again. Shame

Winning against Sittingbourne will change nothing. Of course we should win comfortably because of the gap in status. The FAT is a diversion from the harsh reality of life in the NL under a manager who is becoming more entrenched in his negative approach with every game.

I have a Season Ticket in the South Upper just behind the goal.
I purchased a seat just behind Jim Bentley the Southport Manager in the East last Trophy game.
The view was good and although not as much noise as the South Upper.
Would not call it a dead zone though.

Regards someone not getting there usual seat.
I can't have mine in the South Upper, so it's only fair the club, let all Season Ticket holders Get a ticket at the same time.
I will say the catering facilities are much better in the East than The South Upper.

What noise in the south upper?

You lot just claps and pretends like a bunch of seals 😂

I hate missing games but I’m so glad I’m missing this one. Sittingbourne have only lost once this season and are a goal scoring machine. They will be full of confidence and have nothing to lose. If we do our job and professionally then we will be fine. But never say never

Id go if the whole ground was opened up. always nice to try in a different stand. we all love our own seats but a trip to a different part of the ground is always fun.

The club would never do that for financial reason,, cost of stewarding etc. Plus our fans would be so sparsely spread out, the home atmosphere would be very flat compared to 700 or so Sittingbourne fans crammed into the most vocally acoustic part of the ground ( North Bank ).
Personally i'd have taken the risk of opening the West Stand, & keeping the South Stand closed. Then in the 2nd half at least one of the teams would be playing towards the end where the majority of their fans will be congregated ( with us, either the North Bank or W block in West stand.
But knowing us, we're lose the toss of the coin, & end up kicking towards the South Stand!.

Tbf the stewards are on about £25 per game. Hardly a big outlay

be interesting to know who they have played in the trophy to reach the 5th round . but fair play to them they have sold 700 tickets for this game , how many NL teams have bought that may supporters here . Nil I WOULD PROBABLY GUESS THIS SEASON .
