Yeah but I think we need a list, then say from that list divide it into 4s or 6s and then get a nominated person from each group to book however many rooms we need! Probably didn't explain what I meant well enough!

It's a good idea, but the reasoning behind me getting people to book direct themselves is then the cost will not fall on "an arranger" if others then change there minds about going when Jan falls upon us. I think it would be a good idea as you say to gauge first how many are going to stay over ...but in the meantime look for a venue...
