I think this can work both ways with those that want to attend just for the day and those that wish to make a night of it ...

Things are in the pipeline lads..:)

John @ DTS.

The Bournemouth away fixture was one of the first I looked for, as me and the lads usually make a weekend of it, Saturday April 1st 2006 sure was a messy one last time round, bit gutted it's in January this season, but at least it's a Saturday.

Moe and at least 3 others will be there !

3 others?

Barney, Carl and Lenny?

Stick my name down for this.Don't know any bugger by face but hopefully Cricko will come up trumps with my delightful light blue away-stylee SZshirt that will have my username on it,that way people can come and talk to me instead of me worming my way into the clique;)

At the very worst i'll travel with Shrimpers to Bornmuff, enjoy a pint or three, witness a memorable victory and clap Bradbury and still have a nice time!

Can't see the old lady giving me a night out as i'm planning more away days in Jan so day trip it is,maybe i can find people like Shrimpled who's unacqainted with Zone users too and form a sub-clique!

If i can get a relatively cheap flight over I might come along too if thats ok... Just wondering too is it safe to bring my missus with cricko around tho? :D

Ryanair have got deals on just now (I got an email from Travelzoo about it, selected routes from £5 one-way inc tax & it covers the Jan date of the Bournemouth game) if you can get a Dublin to Bournemouth flight?

I want to book mine up too while the offer's on (although think I might need to travel down Friday as the Saturday flight times are no good for football).

Dave/John, any updates you can provide on if this will happen or not are much appreciated!

Cheers!

Harry is at the moment finding out the cost of a coach from his friend and Callan is seeking out the prices of local places we can stay at ......We will let you know all ASAP.

Cheers for the update John.

I take it for those of us making our own way there, we won't be expected to cover coach costs?

No of course not ...the plan so far is that a Coach will leave Southend early with a few stops on the A13 on the way up .then one pic up in London and down to Bournemouth...the coach will return sometime Saturday night with those people that do not wish to stay overnight. Those staying over will grab a train back ......This is obviously at an early stage of arrangements at the moment and is subject to change of course....

Hopefully we will have all arrangements and options sorted by next week.

Obviously a good call TB ... well just have to hope the coach company we use turn a blind eye to it, as it would be liable to a fine if we were stopped and drink found

Quite - as I believe it's illegal to drink alcohol on any coach as I believe it is in a car as well...

Not in a car Ben.. when i travelled to Barnsley for the cup match last season the police did a car park check and saw we had empty bottles in my mates van.. he had to take a breath-test to make sure he was ok to drive but that was all, they didn't say a word to me even though i was off my face :o
