Thanks for highlighting that now everybody knows!!!!!!! grrr!!!! still I am going to drink!!!
surely that is only the driver that is not allowed to drink?
No, there's some kind of rule relating to football transport (don't know the minimum number it applies to) but vans/coaches are banned from allowing passengers to drink.
**** em drink anyway
There were plenty of us there on the Friday Night when we played them in April 2006.
I'm sure it will be same again this time Glasgow.
and it doesn’t clash with our 4th Cup match against Man U does it?
Thanks GlasgowSUFC, I just doubted that DtS would have checked that.
Surely the local Travelodge would suffice.
My only concern is will Travelodges or other such fine hostelries of Bournemouth be up for letting 20 or so football fans stay via a block booking?
Right then, how about we post a list of definites who are still going here and from there we can guage how many people will need to liase with hotels for booking.
I'll start the list (just quote this post and add your name, with any other info we might need to know)
Definites for Bournemouth 19 Jan 08
GlasgowSUFC (need accomodation Fri 18/Sat 19)
I think we just need to find a place Rich .NOT block book, just do it as individuals but with the same venue in mind ....as suspicion by the Hotel/Lodge wont arise then.
I will be going ......
