Sad as it my be the reality is we are not good enough, and have not been for good for a few weeks, I can not remember the last time we scored from a corner, just dont have the players capable of gaining promotion, even if we get to the playoffs we wont beat Bolton/Fleetwood the only winner will be RM.

PM wanted great fan support he had that at Home to Bolton & Mk Dons, and away to Chalton , Shewesbury but your players bottled it yet again. League One football next season.

It doesn't happen often to be fair, but it was only a couple of weeks ago - John White at Charlton.

The team have massively underperformed having over performed to give themselves a great chance of doing something. 4 defeats out of our last 5 is criminal. The lack of effort has been hard to stomach.

The team and management have asked the fans to get behind the team. We have done our part.

With Plymouth doncaster pompey wigan and looking like Blackburn entering the fray next season it will be hard to be anywhere near top 6. That's not including the 3 players off runners up.

We have about 5 or 6 players that shouldn't even be at the club and will need to be moved on.

We also need to sign a decent goalkeeper and wingers that can actually beat a man and deliver.

Is that the same bristol rovers who got rolled over by a distinctly average posh?

And last year we Charlton, Coventry, Sheffield Utd and Bolton hard to be anywhere near top 6. For all we know Blackburn and Plymouth could go straight down.

Yes there will changes in the summer. No doubt Leonard and Coker will go to bigger clubs, we will ship out half a dozen fringe players, sign a few players just days before the transfer window and then go again...who knows where!!

Who'd have thought Millwall would lose 0-3 at home!!

How many more times, Lenny is under contract. If he's off, then it's for a (decent) fee.

Oddly enough, nothing really changes for the Bury Game, we just have to win;
If we had got a draw today, and been in the final play off spot, then we would still have had to win against bury to guarantee it, or make it impossible for others to catch us.
The only difference is Millwall have to drop points. But we still have to win it.

That's a pretty big difference, it's out of our hands and I can't see Millwall messing up a third time, Bristol Rovers threw away their playoff hopes today and now have nothing to play for, obviously that didn't stop Oxford but their motivation is going to be low.

Not sure what school you went to, we would have only need to win next week, and milwall to drop a point.

Well call me Mr Picky but i think thats what i said

Great support, team let us down massively again. No one deserves any credit apart from the keeper. We couldnt pass water today and actually tackled each other on at least 4 occasions which was embarrassing. Maybe should have had a penalty or even 2, but in all honesty we were beaten by the better team. To say we gave thrown it away in recent weeks is an understatement. Desperately disapointing day and long quiet journey home!

I guess that you didn't go to the game.

The keeper should have claimed the corner.

I did go thanku, still travelling home, so yet to see highlights. From our view 100 yards away ive no idea whether the keeper should or could have claimed it. Maybe ask why a shortarse scored the header. What we did witness was him make a string of fine saves infront of us first half! So yes i was there

We're not good enough and don't deserve to go up, it's that simple. One win in five is all you need to look at. That's relegation form, not promotion.

Just back.....as said before.....it would appear too many players are carrying knocks. No-one seemed up for the fight, midfield trying to play a la Barca....didn't work and frustrated us all...cracking. noisy away support...roof almost came off when we heard Millwall were 2 down.

We needed someone / anyone to score a goal to settle nerves, tension built up as the game went on...Shrews needed a win and once ahead slooooooooooooooooooooooowed everything down (we would've done the same).

Massively disappointing, esp the scuff shot at the end...closely followed by the "wart" at the end.

See all  some of you at the Bury game next week.

Well call me Mr Picky but i think thats what i said

as pointed out in post 15 even if we had won today millwall would only have been two points behind us. we would therefore still have needed them to drop points

Maybe it's poorly worded but your comment seemed to imply that if we'd won we'd still have needed Millwall to drop points against Bristol Rovers, which isn't true, which is why this result is so disappointing.

I didn't realise it was all ticket. But a kindly steward ensured me and a couple of shrimpers could buy tickets from the main office.

The Shews definitely bossed the first quarter of the game but I thought we were the better team either side of half time and Ranger was unlucky with a shot into the side netting.

Shrewsbury started piling on the pressure and duly scored. For the next 10 minutes or so we just couldn't the ball.

We did have chances, but the best two fell to our full backs unfortunately.

I haven't been able to get many games this season, the last was Rochdale away and we were certainly better than that day.

But we gave the ball away to much today and lacked pace and creativity in midfield. With Wordsworth out, the midfield was a bit one dimensional. Perhaps we should have played McGlashan from the start.

We may have had a penalty, but I thought we were looking for one too much today.

,Another very disappointing display today...you can see the confidence draining with each game now

Couldn't string more than a couple of passes together, players going for the same ball on a number of occasions and as someone said, our long throws were poor. We hardly beat the first man and it was so obvious that a Southend player had to move about 5 feet closer to Leonard...doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is insanity right?

We have quite simply run out of ideas and seem to be going through the motions now

Players love all the pre match singing and big crowds, especially away, but lose a game and they are off down the tunnel toot sweat...not good form in my books

Mathmatically it is still possible but can't really see where the leadership needed is going to come from. If we don't make the play offs, let's make no bones about it....we have thrown it away as we have been handed second chances left, right and centre

Bury at home could be very messy one way or the other

Maybe rules man Mick could help me out with this one. During the warm up, can teams practice long throws? I ask this as pitch size varies. Lenny has a good long throw but we rarely had a player where the ball was dropping.

Can we practice throws to see where the ball will roughly land in the penalty area?

I wasn't there but listening on the radio it sounded like we'd run out of ideas, when was the last game we didn't score a goal? Predictably it had to be today.

I was chatting to my Millwall supporting mate at the pub earlier, unbelievably he cheered me up as apparently they were dreadful too! We were joking about Rochdale sneaking the last place . It's still Millwall's to lose, hopefully we'll get the three points and at least put them under pressure. With our recent 'bottle jobbing' though I'm expecting a draw at best sadly.

We ran out of ideas 3 weeks ago

Really felt Jason Williams could have been a decent option off the bench today.
