Smoke bombs themselves are not illegal.
I can't believe that we are even having this question. It is a no brainer. Of course we shouldn't have them. Anyone with an ounce of sense knows the dangers.
I can tell you here and now, if I see anyone with one at any Southend match, I will personally hand them over to the police. I don't want my club being dragged before the League or FA again or our reputation ruined by a few mindless idiots. The majority of our fans are brilliant but it only takes one person to spoil it for the rest. Rant over.
How many more times are we going to have the same debate on this. Please, please, please close this mods. personal opinion only.
You act as if it's a bomb like jheez so dangerous!!! But in reality they really aren't that dangerous, you sound like a headteacher at a primary school trying to ban foam footballs hahaha

And its only a debate why does it affect you? If you don't like it why are you still posting or turn notifications off surely???
Look on the bright side: it could be worse as he could sound like the primary school pupil who has had his foam football banned and won't take no for an answer.
And I would suggest that you are probably not old enough to fully understand the concept of exactly WHY they are dangerous. Did you even have any knowledge of the fire at Bradford before last Saturday? Do you or any of your family have breathing difficulties or conditions?
All these types of devices are illegal in the UK at football grounds. End of story.
So one incident happens (in a wooden stand) and you think that this will happen whenever someone let's off a smoke bomb? I think you lack the concept of what a smoke bomb is. Why don't people go "I remember that time when smoke bombs never caused a fire or death in a football stand" because people always go for the bad option the thing that is 1 in a billion chance and further more it is assumed that the bradford fire was started by discarded cigarette... In a wooden stand.
Seriously? Say that to the loved ones of those that died. Wind your neck in now and shut the **** up
