Breaking News Season Tickets - now on sale

Been to the ticket office this morning. System down, as are telephone lines. Network people in trying to sort things.

I did actually post it on here as well.

As @Exiled Shrimper rightly said, I am a member of the Fan Engagement Board and sometimes (not just now but many times over the years), I have been asked by various senior members of staff to make an informative post. This was one of those times - the Club do NOT post on SZ but do monitor it, so, when I was given the information, I asked if I could share it and was told yes.

Also as I have said, they were looking at it well beforehand but it was a lot more complex than people can imagine in setting up - I've not gone into detail but the legacies of mismanagement run deep, I'm guessing we are still seen as a financial risk - so they couldn't get it sorted in time for the renewals to commence.
As Kay has said, credit options were explored, but previous mismanagement has made the club a financial risk for the time being, and means that the credit providers would be taking a bigger cut than normal, so the club loses out financially.

That will correct itself eventually. I've seen it mentioned that it took Oldham 2-3 years after their takeover to get into a position where they could realistically offer credit options to supporters for season tickets.

COSU are looking into other creative payment plan options, as they have been made aware that the availability of one is the difference for some supporters between being able to buy a season ticket and not, but there are no guarantees that a solution will be found.

Not sure if this has been mentioned and I've missed it, but what will happen if we get a big cup tie again for any reason regarding north bank, I've moved to the north bank this season but Charlton for example had pretty much the whole allocation of the north bank and I'm sure under the rules you have to allow a certain percentage. I'm guessing we will probably have to move seats?

Yeah if we do progress in the FA Cup the full North Bank would be away fans only.
