Season Review DVD in day early

Oh, do come on now, you're all being so unfair.

There's about as much chance of this being the club's fault as England have of losing a test match when they're 550+ runs ahe ....... oh, bugger.

oh dear oh dear oh dear

I notice the club has gone into hiding mode and wont inform us now of the problem!

It is their fault and nobody elses.
Yes but club selling dvds WITHOUT TESTING THEM FIRST!
also this is a diffrent company from the other one because they took to long!
Surely it is the job of the production company to deliver products that actually work.

Yes, I'm sure HMV and Virgin test all their DVD's before putting them on sale

The production company created the error on the DVD's. The only error SUFC made were trusting that the production company did their job properly!!

There's nothing stopping the club from checking a few... but they cannot check every copy... and who's to say a few weren't checked? The posts on this thread is not representative of every purchase... even at this early stage.

And still, the quality control and testing is still down to the replication company.

same old southend..

where are ya scriv?

PR disaster yet again.. will be in touch with the echo, about how southend never fail to **** up the most simple things

Right here's what is happening.

There appears to have been an error in the replicators process that has resulted in the issues you are experiencing.

On supplying the footage it left SUFC fine, but in their copying process one of their procedures has caused an error.

They are trying to replicate the problem to find where it went wrong, this will result ultimately in a re-duplication and obviously those with faulty copies can have theirs re-funded now, or re-issued when the new version is available, this will be before Christmas.

Sorry for the problems cause, but as you can see it is very much out of our hands.

Scriv,
I hope they are giving you a discount. Service like that is just not good enough.
It makes you, a professional club, look like a bunch of twunts and is not fair on all of us.
The discount that you are given can then generate funds for Tilly to bring in some new faces in Januray

yeah, I've seen the guy at Virgin testing all the CDs and DVDs. It's a boring job but someone has to do it.

Indeed once we have got to the bottom of what the problem was, and get the repress done, what we are going to receive in return is very much top of the agenda.

Cheers Scriv if there has been a problem I am sure we can all accept that, its a refreshing changed that you have let us all know the situation and it will stop all the speculation!

Once the tests are run overnight I hope to have an answer as to what went wrong in the morning, and then a course of action to put it right.

In the meantime I'll put a product recall on the OS.

I'd rather arm myself with all the facts before saying what happened.

I have been a supporter for 41 years.

Straw. Last..

Honestly I'm not blaming Scriv, indeed I worked for him as a writer so he's totally not to blame.

SOMEONE THOUGH MUST BE.

Dragon's den - "Why bring a protoype that doesn't work?"

The blame, ultimately stops at the top. Ron Martin.
