Will you renew

I've been following the club for not too far short of 40 years. I've only been a ST holder for about 6 years. Until we started getting some success I never had problems with where I wanted to sit (stand) or pick up ticked for cup/away games. I won't be renewing next season but I'm still likely to go to virtually all the games. Is that shooting SUFC in the foot by not giving them cash-flow ? Probably but the club shot itself in the foot the day RM took over (just took us all far too long to see it).

The club for the last few seasons has been disgusting in the utter contempt it has shown towards players, staff and most importantly the fans and for that reason I'm out. I have principles. SUFC comes first in my marriage and I still feel the hairs rising on my back when the players come out of the tunnel. On principle I will not put my money up front on the basis that I do not believe any of it will be ringfenced for investment.

As others have said not having a seaso gives me back the power to choose my games. God knows there have been times this season when I only turned up as I had the season ticket. Last Saturday I genuinely only turned up after I'd heard the announcement o the starting lineup on the radio. Regretted that decision ha ha

I'm not a big fan of the I'm a better fan than you undertones in this thread. If people choose not to renew and carefully pick and choose tried games nest season with all the other financial factors we now have to consider in life I don't view those people any less diehard fans and neither should you. Fact since 1972. We play well we get bigger gates. We have success ST renewals go up, we don't they fall irrespective of pricing.

Mine now received and duly completed but I will leave until it hits the next credit card statement before taking to the ticket office.
Certainly not as enthusiastic as some previous seasons but despite RM and many of the previous frustrations I could not imagine
or want not to attend SUFC home games whilst health and finances permit.

Lets hope thats not after the 2nd of may or they will charge you another amount for missing the deadline

A friend told me they went to renew their three ST's on instalments just like they have the previous two seasons and due to credit rating he was refused,
however the previous two season there was no check just a signed agreement that if you fail to pay a instalment you ST will be cancelled....
If this is the clubs new policy may also effect others and assist the decline in season ticket sales.

I have to say that it is with a heavy heart that I am renewing my ticket and only purely on the grounds that I have supported the club since I was 8 years old I just begrudge giving my hard earned cash to HIM

I will be going to most home games but I need the money for something more important and I'm not being held to ransom by DD charges.

The club obviously don't need our money that much.

wots more important to you than a seso!!!!!!!!!!:whistling:

So 42% will renew but more than 50% will not or are considering it....That IMO speaks.

I have been trying to find the 2011/12 season card prices, for all the clubs currently in League Two. I have managed to find most of them. A handful are still to release details.

The table shows any early bird prices and the most expensive season card for a seated stand. This has been ranked by full price. The figures may not be exact, but they should be close enough to give a rough feel of how our prices stack up for next year. If you have any pricing details please let me know and I'll happily ammend the table.

Thoughts?
