A lot of people i know who have stopped coming will not be back until Ron is out (these are fans who watched us regularly last time we were in the basement division). I wish i had that attitude sometimes but i love going to football.

However, if there was an arranged group boycott i would gladly participate.

In my opinion this should of happened towards the end of last season when the players were not paid.

The same for me, tell them, like I have told the people I know, that they are only ****ing themselves off by not being able to watch the team they love.
The money they pay for season tickets or individual tickets doesn't go into Ron Martin's pocket, I don't know why some people think this!!

But he can't just go to the company account and withdraw £100,000.
It has been going on the clubs debts i.e paying players too much money for a much too long amount of time.
And many many more miss managed things like, Foran.
The list goes on.

I understand your point but then i also respect their opinions. They dont think that Ron pockets the money.

The problem is Ron has proved that he cannot manage the clubs finances properly and has lost all trust.

It is obviously their decision to not go and I also respect that, but I am like you, I can't stay away, I support whoever is in the dug out and whoever has got the badge on their chest not who is in charge!

But he can pay himself substantial management fees, as well as using said club funds to underwrite the costs of a planning enquiry from which he is the only direct beneficiary, whilst at the same time not paying his staff.

It's one thing Dave, to carry on supporting the Blues even with that shyster Martin running it (and I do carry on supporting it because for 50 plus years I've had Southend United stamped on my ar$e), but it's an act of extreme self delusion to believe that Martin cares about the club, the team, the supporters, the town or anybody else but his own greedy self interest.

I was surprised people didn't think that the club paid him in the first place, the amount of things he's gone through (I'm not defending him here) Court appearances, trying to keep us in the Championship, trying to continuously develop a new ground, he isn't going to do all that for nothing is he?
Sure, he's miss managed it, he has, don't get me wrong!
We all hate him.
But, he does care about the club, the team and the supporters, because that is what is leading him to his millions.
Without the club, there is no ground that needs building.
Without the team there is no club, therefore no ground that needs building.
Without the supporters there is no club and no team and no need for a ground.

Therefore he does care about them all. It might not be in the way that we care about this club. But he does and I am in no way delusional by saying that!

I work, I earn money, I choose to pay my own money from my own pocket to watch my team and I'll be bugg*red if people accuse me of supporting Ron Martin's evil empire.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of Rupert Murdoch, but I buy Sky, because I like to endulge myself, because I work bl**dy hard and so I do things that I like to do !

I dont tell Ron haters how to spend their money, so dont tell me how to spend mine and also dont try and make me feel bad either - last time I checked I was an adult that made my own choices !
