I thought the lesson of King Canute was be very careful how you spell your name
I thought the lesson was if you can hold your breath for 6 hours you can do whatever the **** you like!
I thought the lesson of King Canute was be very careful how you spell your name
Oh. Phew. Thanks a lot. At least now I know that becoming an incredibly famous, and largely popular, comedian "takes very little talent."
I'll bear that in mind when considering my future career eh?
No it isn't! There are better ways to make people laugh than to use basic, insulting, ignorant stereotypes that are plainly wrong.
It's the lowest, most basic form of comedy and takes very little talent.
"obviously a loony left?" You don't know the first thing about me.
No Bazza, you come from a lovely white world where you've never experienced hatred and violence that comes from racism, and to be fair, neither have I. My ex had dog **** pushed through her letterbox because she was Indian. Her dad had a gun put at his head because he was Indian. Her friend was beaten up and put in hospital by racist idiot thugs because he was a Sikh - ooh, he wore a turban, must be part of Al Quieda!
People like Manning and his "jokes" continue to fuel the ignorance and hatred, and I am glad he will never tell a "joke" ever again.
And if I'm boring you, don't waste the effort of replying eh?
You are not just boring me son you are boring most people on here I am sure of that.
Another thing I actually come from a multicultural city called London and now live in a country made up of immigrants from Europe, Africa as well as living in Sao Paulo which by the way, is one of the biggest cities in the world made up of black, whites and the most Japanese outide of Japan. What else, well my girlfriends family comes froma mixture of Spain, Portugal, Africa and Italy and guess what Mr MK we both laugh at Bernhard Manning or alot of other comedians on this earth even without racism.
Get over it and if yo dont like Bernard Manning then turn the television over or open up the days Guardian please.
MK, I'm not going to agree nor disagree with the views on this thread, purely because I do not want to become involved in the discussion. However, I'll point out one thing. Considering the subject contains "RIP" in the title, which obviously means Rest In Peace, I think it is designed to be a thread where people can pay their respects. And if I'm boring you, don't waste the effort of replying eh?
1) I'm not your son. Don't even attempt to patronise me.
2) You've crossed a line that not even True Blue or CSJ ever stepped over. If you resort to personal abuse you've lost the argument.
Quite frankly if this is the level of "debate" that Shrimperzone has turned into I'll think I'll give it a miss for a while. I'm sure that you'll be thrilled.
Not in the slightest, as I said in my previous post I'm not getting involved in the right or wrongs of the thread. Merely, just let this thread be a mark of respect and if anyone wants to discuss Bernard's rights and wrongs then pop over to another thread where you can air your views. And I'm the bad guy, right.
And I'm the bad guy, right....
Bazza gets away with patronising and insulting me and I get the telling off.
Forget it... I think I'll steer clear of this website for awhile.
