If though the staffs hands are tied as there just is no money about for improvements, there is nothing they can do and it is no fault of theirs.
.........so Southend United. One thing you can always guarantee with this club under the current incumbent - just when you allow yourself a little bit of hope that better times might be just around the corner, something will come along to kick you in the bollocks and put you back in your place.
So tiring.

Seriously nothing good ever stays good, it's always shadowed by something worse. One thing you can always guarantee with this club under the current incumbent - just when you allow yourself a little bit of hope that better times might be just around the corner, something will come along to kick you in the bollocks and put you back in your place.

Is it?That's the problem, we just don't know what's going on, it's all rumours and speculation.
It was more the "hehe" that really trigered my reply.
That I am afraid is RM all over and the main reason so many have walked away.I suspect, as has been the case for countless years and for many, many chief executives, players and managers down the line, Tom was lied to about what the situation was like financially.
Very credible doesn't equate to the truth, there is plenty of credible people in journalism that get things wrong. Is it?
Short of Tom/Stan whoever coming out and saying we are skint, wages are unpaid (some departments) and we are under an embargo for numerous reasons, what do you expect?
All this has been posted on here and other social media sources, by very credible people. If people choose to ignore that's their prerogative.
We should all be well drilled enough to know by now that with this tinpot shambles of a club, that there is very much no smoke without fire.
Yep. If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it a million times. It’s the hope that kills you.One thing you can always guarantee with this club under the current incumbent - just when you allow yourself a little bit of hope that better times might be just around the corner, something will come along to kick you in the bollocks and put you back in your place.

I am not 100% sure but the New Year I think as they have The Cliffs Pavilion bash first.Anyone know when the next Zoom call is? Sounds like we have some very real concerns that could do with some answers.
It's the lack of hope that kills you. (Ted Lasso)Yep. If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it a million times. It’s the hope that kills you.
You will be waiting a long time if you want to see the OS corner flag accompanying any of these "rumours" thenVery credible doesn't equate to the truth, there is plenty of credible people in journalism that get things wrong.
Until it's officially confirmed, it's not confirmed.
Thursday night is Cliffs night - possible daunting questions asked then? I'd hope so.I am not 100% sure but the New Year I think as they have The Cliffs Pavilion bash first.
IF it goes ahead of course...I am not 100% sure but the New Year I think as they have The Cliffs Pavilion bash first.
And I agree, it will be a long time, but credible doesn't cut it because it could just be false or mislead information being spread around, unless credible means in the club and on the record, it isn't confirmed. ?You will be waiting a long time if you want to see the OS corner flag accompanying any of these "rumours" then
What, like win our last game? It's not funny though mate, we did hope to see some sort of improvement.
What, like win our last game?
Play better football?
Not make signings like Ranger, Atkinson, Halford, Kargbo?
Loans like the Sheff Utd duo?
Line up ascending talent like Ollie Kensdale?
Put in place a structure with a respected non-league oracle like John Still?
The club has improved dramatically across a number of areas this last 6 months. The seeds have been planted and will take time to bear fruits but if you can look past both the disaster of the Brown era and the shocking 3 years we had the signs of improvement are there. There will be missteps along the way but we’re heading in the right direction. Let’s not get knocked off course again.
I do wonder how many tickets have been sold. I can't see it being a sell out.IF it goes ahead of course...
