Recommend me a book

Just read two crackers - From Hell by Alan Moore (actually just read the collection of Top Ten as well by Moore) and Ghost Story by Peter Straub (great story, cant wait to see the film, which was made with Fred Astaire, for some bizarre reason)

Anyone else read anything recently? sadly Essex Libraries arent stocking Football Fables at the moment.

I am reading one at the mo about Brain Surgeons but its at home and I cant remember the name of the book or the author.

Do I win a prize for pointless post of the year?

No, I can think of many posters recently who have posted far more pointless posts.

Not quite, you are way down the league table.

I am reading Moscow Rules by Daniel Silva, if you haven't read his previous books I heartily recommend his novels to you.

Just finished Ann Coulter's latest ('Guilty: Liberal "Victims" and their Assault on America'), and it's more of the same from the undisputed diva of the American right. I doubt this will win her any new fans (most people who 'hate' her haven't read one page of any of her books), but it's breathtakingly vicious and resoundingly delicious.

Do you want to swap that for Das Kapital per chance?

Currently reading

Primo Levi - If this is a man, the truce.

For those who don't know it, its a true story about an Italian Jewish man who survived Auschwitz. Truly harrowing but the best book I've read in an age.

The Patient by Michael Palmer.
