2. Wages budget for season just gone was 2.3 million, next seasons budget = 1.3 million!!

So, by my reckoning that's 17-18 players on 1.5k p/w bolstered by 3 long term loan signings (paid by parent club fingers crossed).

Maybe I'm wrong here, but surely we can pluck some 500 p/w guys plus another couple of oldies/risks on pay as you play as well?

I wonder if he has a relegation clause in his contract. If not then someone may have to pay money for him and probably match his current wages. Not sure how many teams in League 1 will pay £3,000 a week for him, only the bigger teams & I can't see him playing for any of them.

Posh could be the only team I'd imagine wanting to take a chance on him of the "up there" teams.

Couldn't see Saints wanting to take him on seeing as they're throwing round million pound deals supposedly like confetti in the summer.

Oooh I didn't realise Franno had a year to run on his contract. Worst case here is that we would get money for him. That's one player that could possibly justify high wages for L2.

Get an offer in for Barrett and that frees up some wages to be splashed (sensibly) elsewhere.

Southampton won't be signing too many players this Summer... They're happy with the squad they have now having signed Barnard and Fonte in January. I'd expect them to maybe sign another defender and midfielder, but that'll be about it.

Posh are another matter entirely. They'll be throwing a fair amount of money around as Johnson will look to build a squad in his image and rebuild, with them more than likely losing the likes of Lewis, Boyd, McClean and Mackail-Smith.

apparently AB won't be here next season - he and 7 others will be handing in transfer requests after the Southamton match having become disillusioned at affairs going on behind the scenes (ie Ron Martin) . . . i have it on good authority that AB is orchestrating a move to Huddersfield

I also understand from the same source that AB recently went to see Martin about certain issues - it is alleged that Ron said something along the lines of 'Adam, i thought better of you as a player . . . F*** Off ' . . . . apparently Mildy went to see Ron afterwards and was also told, in no uncertain terms by Ron, to go forth.

Obviously i can't confirm whether this i true or not, but the source is close to the club.

Not so sure about that one... I'd think Huddersfield will harbour promotion hopes if they don't go up this year.

If the Huddersfield thing is true then they aren't going to strngthen their defence by pairing him with Clarke again.

And how do you know that for sure?..From what I have heard he did in fact say the very thing, but then again there has been no inner turmoil at the club this season to justify any of the players being upset about anything and speaking their mind is there?

firstly, i don't cut and paste from a number of messages to create some kind of headline grabbing post - that's extremely shallow

secondly, i was only told the information during a conversation last night - and for your information 'Clinton' most of it came direct from the horses mouth

can i suggest that before you make any more 'wise' responses, you consider all that has been said before shooting it down !

The TefRon tell AB to FRO was said in front of several witnesses. The only part of the rumour I don't believe is that the "disagreement" got physical! That said, if I was AB & TefRon had said that to me, I would have lumped him!

That's almost akin to the Phil Brown rumour.

Sankofa has then given Ron a chinese burn and had his contract terminated, Barrett moves to Huddersfield to be reunited with Peter Clarke and this time next year we will be celebrating as Phil Brown leads us to promotion, inspired by 2 signings from Kilmarnock and 30 goals from Harry Crawford.
