Are you a secret Leigh Ramblers supporter?, as you did'nt mention them.

watford and Brighton from our clash's in the seventies. Liverpool (city of thieves) because of the many blues fans who were ambushed and robbed/beaten making their way back to the coach's after our cup replay their in 1979. And add Sheffield Weds after they completely took over the town on the opening game of the 1975-76 season (apart from the Sutton Arms) and then relegated us by beating us up there on the last game of the season. Also little old Chester, sept 1975 away when their 'fans' attacked one of our female fans returning to our coach after the game.

Used to hate playing Lodge Athletic and always purposefully got knocked out of cup competitions to avoid playing them!

So i'll add them to the list along with an annoying horrid team called Gifford who frequented the lower Sunday League many moons ago they wore Ajax shirts and spent the entire match kicking ten bells out of us and ignoring the ref when he blew up for a free kicks... The ref quit reffing after that match leaving us with no ref and subsequently the end of our Sunday club - NO REF - NO MATCH!

The one side I hate is Carmarthen!! How could they beat Airbus UK 1-0 at the weekend, dirty cheats!!
Otherwise I hate Barnsley, their fans are annoying, northern scum, they always sing that they're the best team in the world and they stole JCR and their manager just looks like a **** and they really didn't deserve that cup run, hate them

I can't stand MK Dons and this Easter i'll probably refrain from using the season ticket as i'm going away, it just makes me sick the whole buy up a club then relocate it the other side of London and then some.

Although i never saw them play, i used to love watching Wimbledon on the telly. I can remember Southend's games against them when they passed us on the way to the Premiership. I just love to see an underdog do well and you couldn't get more underdog than them. To break up a club with more heart and spirit than possibly any other was going too far. Joe Kinnear i rate as one of the best managers out there and when he left because of his illness it turned out that the Dons were doomed.

As for irrational hatred, i'd give a special mention to Leicester City.

All i can say is they talk funny, when we used to play them they always brought down a good following and seemed to sneak the game every time, followed by their fans absolutely caning us from the South Bank steps, i really hated that.

So there you go, MK and Leicester City. Quite ironic given their league placings right now.

Airbus UK FTW

I would like to add Exeter to the list of teams I hate. Been there once during a promotion season sometimes in the 1990's. The whole place is 10 years behind the rest of civilization. Loads of exeter idiots before and after the game wanting to fight everybody who wasn't having sex with their own family.
Might go back there on New Years Eve to cellebrate their millinium.

It all kicked off after their game against Bradford yesterday. There were about 20-30 "fans" throwing bottles at each other across the road and generally making a nuisance of themselves. It's a shame because they are a family club as far as I can tell, having been there maybe 10 or 15 times during my three years at uni here. Every club seems to have their fair share of ****s and Exeter is no exception though.

I went to Exeter a few years back when they went down and we lost 1-0. it was like going back in time.

That day was the reason why if I had to pick a club to hate it might be Plymouth. With more than a little twist of hypocritical irony, I only went that day really to witness the emotional pornography of a club dropping out of the football league. In fact I have a soft spot for Exeter and others like them, for being traditional, down to earth and their fans having had to endure cr4p football since 1920 when they joined the league (Exeter are still our commonest league opponents I believe).

Anyway, that particular game was rammed because of Exeter's plight. And somehow a bunch of Plymouth fans got in with us away fans. Things were already a little heated when we were moved from the end terrace to seats in the 'main' stand, thus forcibly displacing season ticket holders on the most important day of the club's existent. So when the idiotic Plymos start singing 'One team in Devon' which was at the time factually incorrect (Torquay were in the league then) and pointless (Devon?? Who cares!) in the immediate aftermath of the game, it was quite intimidating to see Exeter fans streamaing across the pitch towards us, cutting off our only route out of the ground, looking understandably angry at seemingly us taking the p155. If you want to gloat, fine, but don't hide amongst other clubs fans whilst doing it, thereby inciting trouble for them.

What a bunch of t0ss3rs.

I also have a reasonably irrational hatred of Oxford United and Swindon - top level and they f*cked it up, big time.

I think i might hate the shrimpers a little aswell. Let me explain.

Everytime we come to play at the hall i get excited, surely a lovely evening at the seaside and three points..... Every year i'm dissapointed, i have been stuck in traffic for a good couple of hours each time and have missed kick off by 15 minutes the last two years. We then proceed to get beat and trueblue who's always in my eyeline makes rude hand gestures at me.
I have also been lucky enough to make a couple of games as a guest of shrimpers. Two stand out, Cheltenham in the JPT(?) and Huddersfield. Both have to rank fairly high as the worst games of football ever played in the history of the world. I was fairly confident during the Cheltenham game it would never end and i very nearly was proved right. To make matters worse we were on the tele thrashing Chester at the time. And Huddersfield was so bitterly cold i was almost tempted to hug MK Shrimper for warmth (that says something over how cold it was)

So lets not be too harsh on her, after all she hasn't met you lot to convince her that Southend aren't that bad ;)

Errr did I????

Cheers for your support mate :D

For those that claim to hate Leeds

anytime mate!!

The more I think about it its not Leeds United I hate - in fact I cant really think of many clubs I do hate. Its the impression given of those clubs by their 'supporters' The dislike I have for Leeds is similar to the dislike I have for Nottingham Forest - the massive chips the vast majority have on their shoulders about how they are a bigger club and deserve to be in the PL. And I also realise they aren't all like that.

I'm not ignorant enough to realise that every club has its share of fans that don't give the best impression about their club but some really are over the top - Millwall springs to mind constantly singing 'no one likes us' - really I couldn't give a monkeys about you or your club. If these elements channelled as much enthusiasm into actually supporting their club as they do goading the opposition then they may find themselves better off.

But I really ****ing hate Col Ewe!

Is that not an oxymoron?
