After looking thru PFA website of Free Transfer's and Transfer Listed players ive come up with players id like to see down the hall, realistic targets;

GK - Lenny Pidgeley, Rhys Evans, Daryl Flahavan, Steve Collis

RB - Osei Sankofa, Lewis Hunt, Lloyd James, Danny Butterfield, Danny Senda

LB - Evan Horwood, Robbie Williams

CB - Chris Perry, Mark Phillips, Sam Sodje

RM - Simon Whaley, Gavin Tomlin, David Hutton, Chris Shuker

LM - Kevin Mcleod

CM - Gavin Rothery, Sean Thornton

CF - Adebayo Akinfenwa, Barry Conlon, Leon Knight, Bas Savage, Simon Thomas (Local Lad)

Amazing isnt it, when people moan 'there are no decent players you can get on a free' when that side wouldnt half have a good crack at this level without costing a penny to put together...

I seem to remember Billy Gibson being mentioned when Tilly was still here. Seems he's had a trial at Carlisle but they have decided not to offer him a contract. They quite like M'Voto though.

Wouldn't mind him coming down next week. Even more so as we're now without any right sided midfielders.

He'd have been a useful signing. I think he's intent on trying to force his way into Johnson's plans though. Perhaps it's one that might come alive further into the season.

Bradford have signed a new defender & there are rumours that Zesh Rehman may be making way. Someone close to the PFF (Pakistan Football Federation) also told me that he looks to be out of favour at Bradford now. If it's true, then we probably can't afford to buy him outright, but maybe Peter Taylor could do us a favour & loan him to us for the season?

I see from the same article that they're trying to offload Exodus Geohaghon - great name! Could he do a job for us at CB? He's 6'7" tall!

Can he make it 5 link ups if he joins us? Must be a decent shout I think.

Sounds like he's holding out for a club in the Manchester area though - could be a late joiner on a short term contract perhaps.
