Brown has made no secret of the fact he wants a left winger, just occurred to me that it's gone a bit quiet on the Ben Reeves front.

A midfield of:

Reeves - Timlin - Laird - Hurst

Would surely be up there with the best midfields in the league?! Anyone know anything about the chances of getting Reeves or whether it's out the question?

Hasn't officially signed from what I can see, but think he and his family are from around that area so may well be where he ends up.

I know most would laugh but I've seen that Bradford have released that Lacey winger Zavon Hines ? not sure if he is within our wage budget though but was ex west ham youth so you never know ?

He's a central attacking midfielder - Brown apparently is looking for one of those as well according to Chris Philips. Got a decent pedigree as he is ex-Arsenal & England youth, also played a fair few games at and above League 2 level (Burnley, MK Dons, Rotherham (with whom he broke his collarbone playing against us) and Chesterfield).

May be a possibility.

And on the subject of targets, Ryan Cresswell says the Club will need to start securing some of those if he is to be convinced to stay. So to me that sounds like his future is still up in the air a bit.

Randall has never really fulfilled his potential, quite injury prone. Still young though and worth a punt, I gather Chesterfield fans were disappointed to see him leave. Southerner as well (well, born in MK).

Hines always struck me as a striker who couldn't score for toffee but ended up on the wing because he had a bit of pace. Think he would want a fair bit of wage but would rather see a natural left footer.

Hines scared this **** out of me when he played against us. Fast and tricky. Would love a player like that.

Thought he was homesick? Homesickness isn't affected by who we sign.
