Isn't he (Gutteridge) in the same stable as Curruthers, Leon Clarke and Bilel when it comes to the dressing room?

Correct me if I am wrong ........... but he (Gutteridge) was a good player when he was here but that was some years ago.

On balance, I would say there must be other alternatives available.

white sounds alright but looking at his 9 year career with not one goal worries me about whether he is a good attacking (minded wise) full back but his stint for col u sounds like he is a good defender

I sent details of a Bulgarian player called Georgi Hristov through to a friend of mine who is a Director at the club.

Hristov plays for Tampa Bay Rowdies and is still only 28 and reminded me of George Boyd and can't be on much money over here.

The standard is pretty poor though we do have Carl Cort in the Team as well as Stuart Campbell ex Bristol Rovers but I reckon that Hristov could do a job for us as his brain and movement were years ahead of the rest of the Team.

Can I become our US based scout please Mr Brown??

Not sure that the club take notice of these things, 2 years ago when i was in Australia I gave them details of Trent Sainsbury a centre back who was playing for the Australia under 21 side and the son of a guy who emigrated from Chelmsford. He was looking to play in England and had already trialed with Sheffield United, Essex was ideal for him as he has family here. fast forward a couple of years and he was player of the saeson at central coast marriners, who won the A-league, playing for Australia and being chased by Bolton and FC Basle.
